I'm feeling the game already, after a bad period we must win and get back to the winning. Good to hear that Jose is starting to trust in RLC. Also about Ivanovic's question, would be amazing if Jose will give Aina a chance, if he doesn't trust in Baba.

If Jose didn't go for Rodriguez in the summer, it's likely because he doesn't want him here. Likewise, Wolfsburg won't entertain any of our bids unless it's an outrageous sum.

If baba does not start and aina does I would imagine most of us would be happier with that than with Zouma or ramires at Rb.

This could be a huge moment for Loftus-Cheek's career. If he does start and has a really good game, he surely won't be dropped and he could become a regular for us. I really hope he takes his chance.

Something about Baba Rahman just doesn't add up. One of the best left backs in the Bundesliga and most highly though off talents in Europe in that position is not good enough to even be considered a second-choice starter for Chelsea, while Ivanovic, the worst right back in the Premier League and an 18 year old Aina with no top division experience are fit for the first XI?

 

Aina may be very talented but if he is preferred over Baba Rahman who has 2 full seasons of Bundesliga football and 3 full seasons of first team club football... than I'm sorry this decision has obviously something to do with issues which have nothing to do with football. 

 

Options:

1. Some clause in the contract that causes Chelsea to pay more if Baba Rahman gets played often in the first season?

2. Mourinho being stubborn and in this way is trying to prove that he HAD TO play Ivanovic (by not giving Rahman a chance to prove himself)?

3. Some backroom issues?

 

If Rahman doesn't play this weekend than he's better off leaving in winter. Mourinho is wasting his development.

I like that team, i would play Willian ahead of Kenedy though. Willian's one of the only players who has made a positive impact this season, i think he should be one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment.

Have Willian to cover an inexperienced Baba on the left while he does a box-to-box role on that side. Hopefully we'll witness the rise of RLC in this game too.

I really don't get the Kenedy hype. He had one decent debut against Crystal Palace, one terrible game against Everton (utterly pathetic), a non-showing against FC Porto and one good game against scrubs... He might be a decent squad player, but at the moment he is nowhere near the quality to start for Chelsea.

GAMEDAY! Can't ask for more, even a 1-0 win would be good for me. We must leave our bad form behind and start a new way. I trust in our squad and in Jose, I'm sure he won't disappoint us today.
