Well this thread, many threads on here and the differing reactions of the fans at the game yesterday show that the club sacking Jose has split the fan base completely.

Poor Guus has a heck of a job ahead of him.

Yeah, its just so easy, don't know why these managers can't see it. Just don't bother with needless defending, it just can't fail.

No neither do I, could not understand it is so obvious, should have gave me a bell I would have helped him out.

travelling home from game now...never been at a game like it in my 30+ years as a cfc fan...have no remorse about letting players know how they let us as well as Jose down...if club aren't willing to spell it out, someone has to...

Yea, someone who has not one iota that goes on behind closed doors, best idea all week.

An unnecessary comment at someone voicing their opinion on a forum. Take your own advice.

I thought it was necessary, so I gave my opinion, ok john boy.

No, he just needs to go on winning games with attacking football, the majority will support him.

I enjoyed the fans venting. The crowd always needs a

convenient scapegoat anyway, regardless of merit.

once us enough

Time to get behind uncle Guus. Is Didier gonna be brought in ? Hope so, or did Roman make a seasonal donation to his foundation ?

Watche agsin later on dvr. Was some great passages of play.

Long may it last !!!

In Guus we must trust. Carefree

So much hurt. Pls do ensure the missus got you on suicide watch. HE'S GONE.

So you don't know. Don't be ashamed, there's loads of dumb morons that have managed to have a full life. Try being an mp.

I think the booing of certain players was bang on, fair play to them for having the balls to stand up and be heard.

I think it was very unfair to single out only a few players. Ivanovic, Fabregas and Costa got the worst of it, but why only them ?

Matic has been woeful all season, as bad as Fabregas and Costa. Terry got cheers but even he has been terrible at times this season. People say Zouma has been good but he has been losing concentration in games all season and Oscar has under performed worse than ever.

It's like people are looking for someone to blame rather than blaming the whole team. Mourinho isn't gone because of 2 or 3 players, it was the whole team's fault, including Mourinho himself.

Fair point that. We can only really absolve courtios, due to his injury, begovic and willian from blame.

No one else has been good enough. They can all do far better.

He's gone but LVG and Klapp won't be far behind him, and Pellegrini not far behind them. It's the new version of musical chairs, or the magic roundabout perhaps

The real difference this game was we started well. I always wondered why we started so slowly in about every game this season. Once Sunderland got organised and started to play after 3:1, they actually made a game out of it and we showed those vulnerabilities we had this season. With all due respect, I don't think Holland did something amazing to inspire the players. It's just a matter of after Jose left, somehow the shackles were off, weight off the shoulder, and they decided to come out play football instead and let their football instincts took over. We will need the same start to beat Watford on Saturday, hopefully whoever is the striker will play like one.

There are ways and means of voicing ones opinion without being overly aggressive or sounding like a complete know-it-all cock.

Telling someone to 'grow up' when they've merely stated how they were feeling (not me BTW) sounds like you've either run out of arguments or you're a complete bell end.

Personally I suspect both.

And calling me 'john boy' kind of proves my point.

Ok mbh boy?

Melt.

Yeah I noticed that also, as soon as I saw the squad as a whole closing the game down, passing was fast and accurate I knew we'd win, I haven't felt like that before this season.

We also got a lucky bounce and a penalty, 2 things that haven't been happening the past few months. Shows how tight the margins between winning and losing can be

Paying fans attending matches have every right to boo whoever they want.

They are the foundation upon which the club is built and if they are unhappy about an aspect of the club they are fully entitled to voice that.

They have the right, it doesn't make it right.

allardyce must have been fuming when he learnt that jose was sacked prior to this game, there goes his chance of getting anything from this game and it turned as what expected.. of course, we're chelsea after all.. I wonder what 81 points would do for a club this season?

They have the right, it doesn't make it right.

The crux of the fan divide issue right there in one sentence.

Those more vocally emotional who choose to voice their opinion and boo may well upset the more silent ones who choose not to, and vice versa.

Agree to disagree and move on and, more importantly, agree to get behind CFC.

I thought the booing was distasteful, considering so whole 'rats' thing really has no solid ground, other than beat up from the tabloids. I consider myself a Chelsea fan instead of a Jose man, can't say the same about those who booed the specific players. Anyway, hopefully all the fans will get behind the players on Saturday, we need a lot support to turn this around for the rest of the season,.

Very true. Not many bounces or decisions have gone our way. A handful and Jose would still be in the job, and we'd be top half of the table
