Funny the turn around re Mikel this year... Matic and Costa are turning out to be one-season players for Chelsea... Mikel has been here for years now and has never been a balast to Chelsea.

Great start made all the differences today. Everyone could see we started to struggle and wobble when we conceded that silly goal. On a typical Jose day, they would have at least scored another. Had Remy started, I'm certain we would have scored more. With all the possession in the world in the world, all Costa had to do was get into position and score easy tap ins, couldn't even manage that. The trouble is Remy will never get into form with only a few 15 minutes. Hopefully Hiddink have seen enough and make a call on the striker situation.

 

Finally a win, should be included in Jose's career stats as he pretty much picked the team, tactics, and the subs.

Improved performance going forwards, much more movement from our players. Defence still looks dodgy. Zouma had an off day, Fabregas just stood there for their goal, didn't follow his man or even more after the ball went over him. Costa and Matic look done though, might be best to replace them. Pedro much better today. And obviously Oscar was the stand out performer.

I don't think it was ever really a problem with Cole though, with Matic it's a big problem. The opposition knows that he is weak on one foot, all they need to do is close him down on his weak side and he will make a mistake. He really should work on it in training.

You're right, it didn't really limit Cole all that much, it's just a bit annoying seeing it from professional footballers - and there are many others that are one-footed.

I'm not a fan of booing but I genuinely don't think they will.

Real boo their players every week, do you ever see top players turn their nose up at them?

Money talks, also they're grown men being paid a small fortune to play football, they should be able to take a big of stick from fans.

If they can't, they really should have went in to a different line of work, it's part & parcel of football.
