March 23, 201610 yr I wonder how Leicester fans must be feeling about their position now? Are they just happy to be up there and consider it a bonus if they win the league or are they totally all out for the kill now and banking on a title win. I really want them to do it but I just have this horrible feeling that they are going to blow it. I have visions of Ranieri and Monaco 2004. I don't know how many seasons recently Leicester have finished above Saints in the Prem but, one of their fans wrote, We should be beating these mid table teams. I've no objection to Saints being called a mid table team in fact, not so long ago I would loved to be called that but, I think they should also remember not so long ago so would they! I would love some one different to win the whether it be them or Spuds!
March 24, 201610 yr Was thinking, if they do go all the way, how will they then approach the Summer, in particular the money put on the table for the likes of Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, Schmeichel etc, hell even Claudio might find himself looking at a few top club offers. Will the Chairman accept they rode a bolt of lightning and cash in big time, or try and keep the team together.

I think they'll be in a tricky situation next season, not only do they have to keep the core of this squad together they also have to improve it. It's a difficult thing to do because you can upset the balance of the team but you can't stand still either.
March 24, 201610 yr If they keep the main 15/16 players and add a few squad players, they will have another good season. Some of these players are only going to improve with experience. Kante will leave though. The 'defensive' midfielder in today's game. Very good going forward too. He is everything we wanted Ramires to be.
March 24, 201610 yr I think will win, the pressure is high on this levels, but they passed a lot of big challenges so far. Edited March 24, 201610 yr by Luca Cigarini
March 24, 201610 yr I imagine Mahrez is the most likely to leave in the summer. I have droned on many times about how I rate Kanté as the best player in that side (certainly the one I would most want us to sign), but Mahrez seems the most immediately appealing to a top-level team (although I would maintain that he is still flawed), and certainly the player for whom they could get the most money. Whether they win the title or not, I can't imagine someone like Drinkwater or Simpson attracting even £10m. That said, [at least] a season of Champions League football might be a sufficiently large lure to keep the current first XI around for another year. I do wonder whether Leicester will take the money and run or attempt to consolidate their position as a top six side by taking the opportunity to attract some European-level players; the Premier League TV money can only help with that.
March 27, 201610 yr Our players really need to take the foot off the gas against Leicester. F#%k all this pride rubbish. They didn't show much during the first 3 months so it will mean nothing then. I really hope JT realises this. It will damage our club (to what extent I don't know) if we allow Spurs or worse Arsenal to win it. We will look like the dumbest team and hated by even more neutrals if we don't roll over for Leicester. We need to be smart about this and just give this game away.

March 27, 201610 yr I know I probably shouldn't feel this way but if they need to beat us to win the title on the last day I hope they hammer us

March 27, 201610 yr I know I probably shouldn't feel this way but if they need to beat us to win the title on the last day I hope they hammer us Not really, a 1-0 win would do provided they aren't competing for a better goal difference with the second placed team.
March 28, 201610 yr It feels strange but I'm with the majority. I'd comfortably see us lose a meaningless game to us to prevent rivals winning the league. Is also hope the fans would be in full voice rubbing in the fact we are losing and Leicester are winning the league. Imagine the seethe from Arsenal and Wenger. Would be biblical. March 28, 201610 yr Leicester pip Spurs and Arsenal to the title by a point or 2 because they beat us on the last day of the season. What a silver lining to the season that would be
March 30, 201610 yr Author With a jt own goal to win it. He can then keep his kit on and join in the Foxes celebrations !!

Leicester WDWLDL 8 points 77 Spurs DWWLWW 13 Points 75 Arsenal DWWWWDW 17 Points 75 I got us as beating both Spurs and Leicester so if we fail to beat Spurs, we need to lose to Leicester !
April 4, 201610 yr My big concern is that a loss now for Leicester and they get the jitters and they capitulate.

April 5, 201610 yr I'm glad Leicester play before Tottenham, obviously only 3 points are on offer but it puts the pressure on Spuds, Man Utd will never be an 'easy' game regardless of their position.
April 10, 201610 yr Leicester fan here- im travelling from Australia for the last couple of games and need a ticket at the bridge, anywhere!! Will pay more than face value
