Desire is there, just lacking the match fitness. I think he's been fine personally and if any the players behind him could actually create anything we would be singing a different tune. 

I'm glad with the team selection today however the performance has been below par to say the very least, good experience for the younger players tho, I'm happy pato is getting selected over falcao! I would actually sign pato in the summer and have him as 3rd choose striker, who else would be willing to play 3rd choice let's be totally honest... Pato makes good runs behind the defence but so far he has had no service what so ever! he missed a good chance with the last kick of the first half but at least he is getting into the correct positions!!!

There is a lot to be said for the fact that we may be playing badly but we do have Miazga, Baba, RLC on the pitch and are giving Pato some real minutes to properly evaluate him.

 

We arent gonna move significantly up the table so at least we are achieving something with the game. People would be complaining if we were scraping the game 1-0 and not playing the youth so im not too bothered.

If we play with two up front and bring in a new striker then Traore can easily be third striker. Or maybe we use Solanke or Abraham.

 

Signing a striker who hasn't done anything notable in four years because he used to be great is everything this club shouldn't be doing.
