Swansea vs. Chelsea (PL) 09/04/2016 KO 15:00 BST

Featured Replies

Swansea have gained 10 points from their last 5 matches. Beating struggling teams like Villa and Norwich, but also winning at The Emirates. The other 2 games they lost to Bournemouth and have just drawn with Stoke.

I'm quite confident we can come away with 3 points, but it wouldn't surprise me if they held us to a draw.

No Costa for this one. Would like to see Traore start, but I'd also like to see Pato as well. Hopefully Guus will play some Youth players again, too.

It's a tricky fixture. They've won 3 of their last 5 including that one at the Emirates, but the other 2 were Villa and Norwich. Dropping points at Bournemouth wasn't great but that point at Stoke was hard fought.

Honestly they're probably not far off where we are as a team so it's a toughie.

It's a step-up for someone like Miazga too, especially if Gomis plays because I've always liked him. I'd really like to see us keep going with the youngsters but I suspect Guus will make a few changes including bringing Willian back into the team at the expense of Kenedy. I'd also be inclined to drop Rahman if one of Cahill and JT are back.

------------Courtois

Ivanovic  Miazga  Terry  Azpi

-------------Mikel

 Fabregas--------Loftus-Cheek

Willian------------------Pedro

------------Traore

Pato did well but Traore was great before he was dropped for Costa and has done nothing to see him overtaken by the loan signing.

I think uncle Guus will revert back to a team made up predominantly of tried and tested players.

Returns for, if fit, Terry, Cahill, Willian and Hazard.

Hopefully TLC retains his place but I won't hold my breath.

What happens with Traore, injured? I wasn't convinced at all by Pato's debut, but Remy was awful, even if he's somehow fit he shouldn't get anywhere near the starting team. Swanesa is out of the relegation zone, not that much to play for either.

I really have a sense of indifference ahead of this fixture that I haven't felt about a Chelsea game in a long time.

By the way, if you type 'define indifference' into Google the example comes up as 'the indifference of Chelsea's midfield.'

I think he was away playing in the international break (Ghana, if memory serves me) and didn't return until later then most playing in Europe. Because of this he was rested.

That's what I heard anyway

Teebo

Dave Ivan Gaz Kenedy

Cesc Mikel

Willian RLC Pedro

Traore

Traore was rested against Villa, might see Kenedy replaced by Baba in the lineup.

We are more likely to see this team.

He was away with Burkina Faso playing against Uganda i thought

trying to get my boy a ticket in the chelsea end against swansea.got one in the swansea end but hes chelsea mad and we live up the road.any body got any ideas thanks.

Begovic

Azpi

Ivan/Terry (if fit)

Salter

Baba

Mikel

Fab

Kenedy

Loftus Cheek

Pedro

Traore

I want to see Salter play a full game, not just 10 minutes, now that we've seen Miazga, Pato to replace Traore in the second half, would like to see Aina eventually.

Not sure what team we will put out but hope it contains plenty of young players.Would be nice to keep the unbeaten league run going but Europa is beckoning.Still beggars cant be choosers.....UP THE CHELS!

That's hilarious, I thought you were joking but it actually does!

Yeah. It's Atsu (and Baba) that's Ghanain.

Sorry, I meant I thought he was away playing against Ghana, not that he's Ghanain.

Feeling positive about this match. Hopefully we'll get the new manager boost even though he's not started yet

Oh I see. Apologies.

I'm assuming you meant Miazga? Also, Matic is out injured.

That I did and I guess that means brana rather than jt and Mikel rather than matic.

I would still expect willian and Pedro in rather than traore/pato and kenedy though.
