With the money we spent on Rahman, I'm glad he's getting a run of games. Considering Ake's on loan, and we have Aina and Azpi as well - I hope we don't spend for any LB or RB this summer. There are greater spending priorities.

Agree. Would like to see 2 new smart, impact signings (easier said than done), fill the rest of the squad with what we have. Because we do have a lot of young talent from which to choose.

Tells a story doesn't it. Hopefully courtois shuts his mouth and gets on with winning his place back and becoming our keeper for many years. But I doubt it, I expect more nonsense from him as he engineers a way out if the club.

I suspect it's got more to do with the coaches wanting to give Begovic some game time and there being nothing at stake. He's been a good pro, he took being dropped well so it's a nice gesture.

 

Unless there's a huge bid I can't see this club realistically thinking that selling one of the best prospects in world football is a step in the right direction.
