That non league player who tweeted those disgusting comments about Harry Arter's baby last night has been sacked but that might not be the last of his troubles, I just typed in Alfie Barker on twitter and there are a lot of women who have tweeted about him pestering them and not understanding the word no,  If he's lucky getting sacked by his football club will be the last of his troubles otherwise a few of those girls might want to stick the boot well and truly into him.

I'm not trying to play detective here but some of the girls that guy tweeted were apparently 14/15, Gordon Bennett, Talk about social media opening up a can of worms, He will have a few questions to answer that's for sure.

Oh for suck sake, of all the non-league clubs, it had to be my home town, I was in Hitchin earlier. Finally doing well in the league as well.

So Sunderland reject £6 million bid from West Ham for Defoe.

Tbf that's a pretty insulting bid sure he's 34 but he's still class. Sunderland should settle for nothing short of £20 mil or no sale

£6m for a 34 year old striker, man they are desperate.

The form he's been in this season, he's worth more to Sunderland than that £6m because there's no way they'd be able to find a replacement especially for the money they'd have received.

Think it's because of his age and testing the waters.

I doubt they would get over £10 million for him given his age, they shouldn't be selling in nay case as he is their best chance of staying up. He'd be worth more than £20 million to them if they survive.

Yup shows the sheer desperation from West Ham.

Big Andy has been an utter disaster since his Liverpool move, has he went a few months without injury since he moved?

Defoe himself might push for the move though, West Ham more likely to stay up IMO and he'd prob get a good pay rise. Maybe another bid on the cards?

Suffice to say it's been a bit of a shock to the Southern League fans.

Supposedly they're in for Glen Johnson as well: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/10718629/west-ham-keen-on-signing-stoke-defender-glen-johnson-sky-sources-understand

I guess they're trying to get all the old boys back together? Who's next? Carrick? Carlton Cole?
