Would have been better if Arsenal had thrashed them, at least then you could say, fair enough they deserved it. But they haven't even played very well and could easily have drawn this game.

That was fun to watch. Nothing quite like that here in America. Sutton can hold there heads up high as they played well and were kinda unlucky with their finishing. The FA cup might just be the best sports tournament I have ever seen over the years. Just a lot of fun to watch teams go at it who would normally never play one another.

Honestly, if Arsenal play like that in the next round they have a good chance of getting knocked out. I know they were playing in like 2nd gear but you mess around too much you are likely to get bitten. They are lucky they are at home.

Walcott has taken 11 years to get to a 100 goals at Arsenal...pretty lame

63 league goals in over 250 appearances. only 1 season has he scored double figures in the league.

Tomorrow morning the Sutton players will resume their jobs as construction workers, picture framers, etc.

The Arsenal players will wake up in their mansions, get a free massage, and play video games the rest of the day.

By the time the day is over, the Arsenal players will have made more than the Sutton players will all year.

Only in the FA Cup!

Absolutely. Lincoln played better on Saturday than Arsenal did tonight. Isn't Burnley's home record better than Arsenal's? The next round won't be easy for Arsenal as Lincoln will actually play to win as opposed to Sutton playing for fun.

^ That image seems woefully incomplete without a pint to be honest.

That was a fun enough game. It was a shame Sutton didn't score as it would have given the fans something to remember, but I suppose the fact that they completed at least two passes will be a sufficient reward.

I would have had much more fun if I had been the commentator mind... "Ospina apologetically makes the save"; "the linesman begrudgingly gives Arsenal a corner" as opposed to "Oh look, it's David O'Leary - remember him?"

he did wash it down w/ a bottle of water xD  - BTW who was the commentator of your match feed? I believe the one I had was Martin Tyler, but I could be wrong - any peeps here watch the FS1 feed?

I don't know if anyone slated us or not for fielding a strong lineup. But I just saw a comment about United needing Zlatan and Pogba atm.

It seems if you play a strong side against a lower league time, then you can't beat them otherwise. Or, if you make several changes and play squad/youth players, you're not respecting the cup.

You can't win.

If your point is about manager's decision on team selection, damn if he does and damn if he doesn't then you missed the point.. I'm not interested in judging that in a cup game because it's a knock out system, nobody would be affected apart from the 2 clubs involved hence I don't see why jose needed to make a comment about other clubs as if they 'throw it away and disrespecting the cup' just because they made a considerable change in team selection, an act he exactly did it himself, the irony..

Have to say I agree. It reminds me of the loyalty argument. So many fans and pundits bang on about how there is no loyalty left in football, then they go and criticise players who don't celebrate after scoring against their old clubs.

I know it has barely anything to do with your point...I just like it when people point out the "damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't" narratives from some people in football. It's almost as if they make up their opinions with the benefit of hindsight! (No, surely not)

why does Ozil keep getting time off when he's done nothing this season? There are lots of Arsenal players who have put in more of a shift yet they play in pretty much every game.

Ozil being given time off shows everything that is wrong with Arsenal from the board down to the players.

Board run it as a business, Wenger has no tactics, plan b or drive. players like Ozil and Co love being there because the manager takes all the blame, they get the easy life and sign new contracts even if there not first team regulars. The board to the players have no ambition apart from top 4.

The best thing for Arsenal would be to get a new manager in like Conte who needs the full backing of the club. I honestly think the right manager would have them fighting for the big trophies.

Please get wenger on a 4 year deal.
