Whilst I agree with nearly all your post, I don't see how it's a boost to the competition. That needs the top sides to start taking it 100% serious...and that all boils down to the incentives.

But yeah all neutrals love an upset.

If the top sides get done by lesser ones cos they put out weakened sides it  should encourage them to put out a stronger eleven. No side likes to be at the back end of an embarrassing defeat.

Personally I love the cup for the upsets it throws out over the years. I grew up in an era when the final was the only live football on tv, can remember some big upsets like they were yesterday it is what makes the cup special. I would hazard a bet that most of my age could say immediately the big teams beaten by the likes of Hereford, Colchester , Wrexham, Wimbledon  and bloody Orient:blush2: to name but a few. So yep give me the odd upset like today, Lincoln will be remembered for this result in 40 yrs time long after I'm pushing up daisies.

Sadly that's not the incentive I think will encourage teams to field strong sides every round.

Going to need a whole load more prize money or a place in the CL for the winner for that to happen.

I f**king hate Millwall. . f**king c**ts - if we beat Wolves I hope we get them in the next round and beat them 8-0. If you have a Millwall season ticket you should be chemically castrated by law.

Turn their ground into flats.

You really should stop beating round the bush Ploks and say what you actually mean...

Or a rule change, requiring a set number of starters play the next league match after the cup. Anything is do-able if you put your mind to it. Football didn't get invented in 1992 like many would have us believe, teams regularly played full sides and played as many matches as they do now.

........And Leicester are out, Ranieri to follow.

I think they will give him the Sevilla game. I can't see them getting out of that game though so i expect him to be sacked after it.

that draw with Huddersfield could seriously affect City's season. their game v United is now likely to be played mid-week maybe 25 or 26 of April. That gives them 7 games in April and that will become 9 if they get past Monaco in the CL.

give him the benefit of the doubt - I read that the Millwall fans attacked the Leicester City fans WTF? Didn't Millwall win?

With a lot of teams you hear people say "it's always the odd few that spoil it for the rest" but with Millwall fans it always seems to be the opposite, it's more than the odd few. It's like being a prick just comes natural to those lot.

Millwall are the epitome of scum, they should be banned from the game way there fans always act.

Speaking of bans I hope Joey Barton gets one, everyone see the play acting moment? It's a disgrace,

this tweet cements all of your arguments

Not enjoying seeing ranieri look such a beaten man...clearly lost his players, who have been fcuking abysmal...but Burnley on the other hand? Couldn't have happened to a more horrible bunch of pricks, Ashley Barnes in particular
