Clattenburg has quit the Premier League to referee in Saudi Arabia. Doesn't like the scrutiny of his decisions apparently not to mention the added millions he will get in Saudi.

So bizarre.

But fair play to him if he's able to get a good pay day out of it. Not many refs will end up as financially secure as he will.

Will pay for his monthly wig replacement and he can even get some more cringe tat's.

That's more than 95% of managers in the premier league in that era won.

So, I guess that's why.  He's in the top 5 percentile

And how many of them were there for 21yrs?

All im saying is given the amount of time hes spent at the club, 3 league titles is a paltry return. You can compare his record with other managers but they didn't have the luxury of being given 21yrs.

Don't underestimate how hard it is to win won even if you are a rich club.

How many more will Ranieri win in the next 20 years?

oh theo walcot, eat that humble pie lol.. good sign, alexis would not be thinking of renewing his contract now.. drop out of top 4 would put the nail on the coffin.. we can get him, 40mils would do the trick..

Doubt we'd be the only club after him.

Would be a great addition but hefty competition.

Sanchez would be phenomenal.  It's about time we pulled off another transfer coup a la:

Cole from Arsenal
Willian from under Tottenham's nose
Torres from Liverpool

They may not have all been as successful as one and other, but they were signals of intent from the players and the club.

Glad Clattenburg is gone. He has this arrogant air to him like he's some sort of superstar and is bigger than the players themselves. Hope mike dean follows him.

Personally I think the best referees are those we rarely hear about. They do their job and disappear and let the game and players take the spotlight  like it's meant to.

Why Juventus?

They're in a better financial place after the sale of Palmer and clearly Arsenal will try their best to not sell him to Chelsea which automatically gives hope to Juve/PSG and Bayern as they feel the club will be more willing to talk business with them. He played for Udinese before he went to Barca where he ripped it up so Juve will know he won't need any time to adjust plus the Chileans have a long line of history playing for the Italian elite with Vidal/Salas/Zamorano etc.

Yeah Juve have tons of cash and I can see him wanting to win some Trophies with them. It would suit Arsenal to sell abroad and they will get a good fee.

He's a total tool and it's so transparent this nonsense he left cos he wasn't treated well...just went for the cash. It's a myth he was any good too...rarely a game went by where he didn't make a sh*te decision

English teams in Europe have been a joke since we won the Champions League and Europa League. Tottenham are fielding a strong side and are losing to Gent......embarrassing.

It'll be down to us to restore some pride in the premier league next season, we're head and tails above other English teams playing in those competitions.

Looking forward to seeing how far Conte can take us next season, back him in the transfer window and who knows where it will lead............."It's in the stars"......
