Matic, back to his tackling, intercepting, bossing best.

Alonso was out of position for the first two goals, I'll give him a few weeks to accustom to Conte's demands, but I was less than impressed.
All the defenders look shaky at the moment, JT-Zouma is easily out best back two.
Batshuyai has the makings of a big big player.  i think we've got something here.
RLC was poor.
Enjoyed Pedro and Moses' game.

Had to choose from Moses, Matic, Cesc. The back 5 were poor as a unit and individually only Luiz stood out. Michy had a good game, RLC was poor.

I would have to go with Cesc

Went with Fabregas, however I thought that he was bad in the first half but as the game progressed he became more influential. 

I didn't think there was a lot of stand out performances last night, Costa was one of the most impressive because as soon as he came on we looked so much more likely to score. 

Moses for me, his power and direct running are something that this team lacks, and I really had my doubts about his ability to make it here this season, but based on that performance, I think he warrants a place in the first team ahead of Willian on current form. It's nice to see a proper winger on the pitch for us, going up against Arsenal I'd start with a front 4 of Hazard, Fabregas, Moses and Costa. 

I went with Cesc, for his attitude more than anything else..... It doesn't feel like he hump about not starting

 

 

Went for Moses. His work rate and speed with the ball gave us an outsource when we were up against it and carried through 120 minutes. Happy for Cesc though with his second half  and extra time display, with two goals to cap it off.

Since when was the league sponsored by the English Defence League?

Fabregas is the obvious choice but I thought Moses played well. Not the most gifted footballer in the world but knows how to put in a decent shift and I think he deserves a starting place, even though Willian is more talented.
