That is a dilemma to be fair. How can you pay someone like Sanchez a lot more than Hazard just because you've picked him up cheap. It creates a president and bad feeling in the squad. That's the trouble with football these days, there is always that club that will decide to pay that bit more - there is SO much money in the game - it's totally f**ked things.

I just don’t understand why we ain’t in the hat for signing Sanchez! For the money he will cost, he is world class. Probably give us a lift if he came in this month, show intent to the other players than we can still sign top class players and also stops Utd or City being strengthened.

I am hoping that I see the breaking news flash up on sky sports that we are in talks to sign him....although, sadly, looks like Utd will be his destination. 

He wants Manchester. And lots of wages. So we don't want him. Simple as.

Hazard can still turn around and say ‘Sanchez earns 250 at such & such, I want the same/more’. Just because the players aren’t at our club doesn’t mean they won’t influence our players (and more likely their agents) minds.

sanchez going to city wouldn't have bothered me much as they are in a different league already..

but now the links are strong with United who is a direct rival to us.. this is really bad from our board not to try to get him if his heart is not that set on city...!!

at least i hope he goes to pools as their defence will remain poor with whatever attacking prowess they have... but united will be seriously good if they get him..

can only dream...these days we can only sign players if there is no bidding war!! eg. barkley.. we even struggled with llorente..

see i can cope with not signing anyone else if we sign this guy and a lwb...

if we can only buy one alexis please.. he will be real threat to opposition defences.. just look at his number of goals and assists from last couple of seasons...

Our board's ability to sit Pat when things are going well is infuriating. We keep doing this. I will still be ok if we reduce our expectations and say we just cannot afford big players anymore. Hope Conte doesn't face the axe because of the board.

I get the argument for wages, but at this point, we need to start taking risks or we will continue to fall behind. City have already surpassed us in terms of strength, and manutd getting sanchez will also make them surpass us, and whether people like it or not liverpool are also getting stronger and an argument can be made that they are currently on par with us. I worry that come the end of the season, the fourth spot could be an all london club battle which may include ourselves.

Stadium is an easily blame. Club are so so worried about ffp but the stadium has no effect on that. We want players like this we need to sell first to keep ffp.
