Just like with Lukaku, i don't believe we are really in for him. Like others have said, it's possible it's just the boards way of saying to fans "we tried"

More like a media story. Now that City has pulled they need somebody else to maintain the tension. He is going to United. 

why people want sanchez i don't know. he's a mercenary and his first choice was man city and pep. if it wasn't about money he would wait and go to city (or psg or bayern) for free in summer.

most big teams don't have 'even' pay structures...look at Madrid, half their team is on average salaries despite a few larger earners. Sanchez can get a big pay cheque here without rocking the boat too much. If anyone else has a problem with his big cheque then they can be replaced (except Hazard---obviously)

Still can't see it happening but with regard to wages he could perhaps earn the same as Hazard. We would just have to pay a higher signing on fee to make up the numbers.

Probably the most reliable when it comes to Arsenal. City believe we are interested.

I would be ecstatic if we some how pinched him from the grasp of United. With Hazard alongside him we would have 2 of the best attacking players in the league, and enough fire power to overcome Barcelona in the Champions league. At the moment with what we have we're in danger of dropping from the top 4 and failing in Europe. This transfer would definitely boost the squad morale.

We'd all be over the moon if this happens.

Unfortunately just can't see it. Wish I could though.

It is done he is United bound. The package from United is too apealing to arsenal and Sanchez for it to fail. We would not go that high it would smash our wage structure.

I don't think we are in for him but what a signing this would be, would really lift the mood at the club and deal a big blow to Jose and united at the same time.

He and arsenal also hate us. Now if it was a choice between selling to us or spurs we would be shoe ins but otherwise think they would pick to sell to United. Though am sure they would rather sell to city than United.

It feels like Arsenal cant sell to man U, just the rivalry, at least they keep beating/drawing with us and might feel like we are less of an enemy.
