Going to bed before I read a massive banner of "Sanchez pens deal with United".

 

I fully expect to be dissapointed. Prove me wrong Chelsea.

Hmmm he seems to have a mutual respect for Conte - very cordial to each other after the last match..hopefully that counts for something.

As others have said, I can’t see us paying the sums that he wants. Plus, he’s 29 and will presumably be on a 4.5 year deal. Big sums for a players entering his 30’s who’s played a lot of games.

In Chelsea's favour.

- Sanchez prefers London.

- Sanchez has a good relationship with Conte, more so than Jose.

- Arsenal would rather sell to us than them.

 

In United's favour.

- Bigger club aura.

- Can offer higher wages & more money to Arsenal. 

- Chelsea may have left it too late.

So I watch TV, check for updates and this is what I see.
Please God, don't mess with me.

Although it would be a bad idea having our hopes too high on this one, keeping an open mind should be sufficient.

It would be thee hijack of the century. Let's not forget that Conte was spotted having a conversation with Sanchez in his last appearance for Arsenal for the Carabao Semi-Final. With that being said, anything is possible !

No proper sources reporting anything more than rumors.

That Matt Law tweet was fake - his last update was that he wasn't aware of anything yet.

Undoubtably a quality player but if the wage demands/transfer/agent fees being bandied about are to be believed then we shouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

Quite apart from his age I would also question his mentality and commitment. He's practically refused to play for arsenal since all this transfer talk has surfaced. Not the kind of mentality I want to see in our team quite honestly.

We've overtaken City in odds if anyone cares...

He's never stopped running whenever he's been on the pitch.

My Arsenal supporting mates love him to bits because he always gives 100%, even in the last few months.

 

Wouldn't question his work ethic or mentality.
