There are no links with us from any journo worth his salt. The only reason we are involved at all, is because of city dropping our name for their own agenda.

i think if we dont want to spend big than better we sign no one

Wages would cause havoc with the club wage structure. Also doesn't fit in with the club policy of buying youngish players. IE no resale value.

I can't see this one happening.

Literally means he doesn't know, himself he has told us he has no input.  Gives his opinion and the board then decide.  Was asked week or 2 back why we hadnt bid and he said "i dont know"

Its unlikely we get him yes, but I wouldnt take his response as final.

I genuinely believe him, he has no idea.  If we get him its a board signing to appease Conte and fans, but one Conte will be delighted with
