The fees all these "super" agents seem to get for f**k all actual work are just ridiculous, and the clubs that agree to pay them are crazy. And Sanchez must be right up there in the ultimate list of football mercenaries.

The financials of this deal, especially for a 29 year old, are insane and will cause no end of problems for United in the dressing room, which is one good thing I suppose.

The Sun ran this stat last March which showed that Arsenal do better when Sanchez is out of the team then when he is in it. With any luck that stat will transfer to United as well.

I seriously don't understand why everybody is wetting their knickers over this guy.

Sure he is a decent player, they're all decent players. 500k contract. Please.

I think because all of the really good players are either on long contracts or just not available/interested in moving, then the next tier down players are now commanding the big boys money.

Sanchez has actually been quite average for a long time. Yes he could add a new dimension, yes he could develop into a great player in a better team than Arsenal, but for the money being banded about nowadays, these guys should already be in their prime, already have a resume full of success and can hit the ground running.

Whilst I am not comparing the players its just an illustration and although I hate his guts somebody like Luis Suarez does that. He has a proven track record and has hit the ground running in different countries. Like I say it's not a comparison but you get my drift.

What really is on Sanchez's CV to stand him out other than the market is full of expensive dross so he must be priced to be top of the pile. I don't get it.

You need to look at the sample size difference - 129 matches v 21 matches..

So he has only missed 21 matches out of 150... Some of those maybe due to the transfer situation unsettling him..

But with the figures reported in media I can understand why we are not going in for him and can see Utd are desperate..

Poor ol Pogba will be banging on mourinhos door, sanchez is not worth the hassle and certainly not £450k PW!!

Thing is it's not outwith United's grasp. They can pay players these amounts and still turn a profit given they earn the most money in world football.

Unlike City and PSG their sponsorship deals and brand make sure they are the richest in terms of income.

Good signing for united. They will be a serious contenders next season.

We could really do with a top attacking midfielder ourselves, hopefully barca, United, psg, and city are done for attacking players in the summer, so we might be able to get someone of real quality in.

Yeah they've both done well, Arsenal have shifted a player who only had six months left on his deal and wanted out and brought in a very talented player.

Man U have gotten rid of a player who didn't suit them and brought in a world class forward.

Time will tell on which ones got the better deal.

Insane wages, reports between £500-600k per week inc. bonuses. But you won't hear from anyone how United are destroying the soul football and inflating the top end of wages.

Indeed. I personally think they are both much better off now. 

Actually, knowing Mourinho as we know him it really wouldn't surpirse me if he has decided to keep Luke Shaw because he will end up using Sanchez as a LWB and get Shaw to compete with him. Still Sanchez should be sweeping out the changing rooms and driving the bus as well for the money he is going to be on.

It's his dream since he was a little kid to join whatever club pays the highest per week wages lol.

It was his dream since a kid, he chose united over city because of what the club stands for, and then 399 998 other reasons I won't list.
