January 16, 20188 yr I’m pretty sure if we are interested it’s not with any real intent. I think most likely the club is trying to make it seem like we want him to appease the fans. But we know better.

January 17, 20188 yr We all know there's no deal for Sanchez, probably his agent at work to make sure United pay up. I'm sure when it goes through, Jose will have a dig at us for not signing the best player. The way I look at it, despite all the pros, with Hazard yet to sign a deal, we offer the new guy 350k a week, Hazard will probably walk off or we have to pay him more than 350k, and the other 5-6 regular starters will knock on the door asking for a pay rise too. Gary Neville said it's a bargain should United pay 350k a week plus 35M for the deal, I'm sure he will say the complete opposite if we sign Sanchez. Thar Riola guy is the baddest M*F agent, somehow he will convince his client to sign for a team he's not interested in, to get a pay agent fee and pay rise.
January 17, 20188 yr like others have said, if it wasn't about money for sanchez he would have stayed until summer and gone to a better club, or would have taken a cut in wages to go to city this month. unfortunately agents are now greedier than the players, so it makes it even harder to get good players because agents are looking out for their own interests over their client.

January 17, 20188 yr Why did we even try this... now the embarrassment is huge. We got outplayed by Jose and we take Caroll... a lot to talk about the media.
January 17, 20188 yr apparently his wages will be 490k per week. fecking mental if true. messi is on 500k.

Well, if that is true, then there is no way we would have matched it. Suddenly it doesn't feel so bad missing out on him, we were never in with a realistic chance of getting him if those are his wage demands. Edited January 17, 20188 yr by Scott Harris

January 17, 20188 yr 60m isn't a transfer I'd mind for a player of his quality. 500k / week is bananas though, surely can't be that high.
January 17, 20188 yr The 29 year-old will be paid £14m a year after tax - just under £27m a year before tax - to join United, on top of his £30m valuation, £20m signing-on fee, and an agents’ fee worth more than £10m. That all adds up to around £180m for a player who had entered the final six months of his Arsenal contract and goes some way to explaining why Manchester City walked away from negotiations.
January 17, 20188 yr I may speak in a place of unknowing......but these f**king mancs have dsetroyed it all with their excessive willingness when it comes to paying agents and signing on fee. I like Clubs like Bayern WHO have morals and wont bent to these mother f**king voltures. When will all this sh*t stop ffs? Why dont UEFA or fifa step in and sort it out? What the bloody hell happened with ffp? You know the same ffp we somehow are obsessed with and others just dont give a flying f**k about. 60M to get him and 490k a week? Go f**k yourself and that scumbag agent of yours............ohh and f**k utd and city too.

For City to say 'thanks but no thanks' shows how ridiculous it is. Where will it end? I can see how this would cause dressing room unrest (regarding enigmas post) every other player will be wanting more money, especially the likes of Pogba who has the ego to feel he would deserve more.
