forget city who are on another level.. yes we have a very good defence.  and we have KANTE..

its in the offensive players we are lacking big time...almost all other top 6 sides in epl are better than us in offence..and i dont think they will need any of our attacking players other than hazard if they all became available..

He's already decided he's going to City though has he not? They can blow us out the water in terms of wages and at this point trophies so it's not happening.

It's our failure to go for any other top player that's frustrating.

We've probably done our due diligence, just like the other top spenders in the league.  If he wants to go to a certain definition no matter what the club offer it's just not going to work.  I'd love him here but it seems he has his mind set on city and city only 

still; it should be worth a try. We have a lot to offer on paper; London club (doesn't have to move family), can pay big wages, and with him here could compete  at top level (if we keep Hazard)

How do you know we haven't tried?

obviously i don't know for certain - but clearly if we were making a BIG push to sign him, there would be more noise. 

I'm not saying we haven't inquired.. we may well have, but that's not enough. 

Sanchez was good , i mean he is good but just to costly we cant beat the contract of city anyway possible, but what i feel is Sandro we have stopped and now we want some Alex tells (i have no clue who he is , may be some 2nd tier player or even worse) , than we want some another mid fielder as if we want a army of midfielders there , No LWB ,No forward nothing.

its clear why hazard want to leave us , he can see we wont be winning any trophies , Mr Roman Abramovich is not going to splash any more cash , we wont be winning any big trophy result will be less fans and smaller history and than nothing just a tier 2 club (may be i am to pessimistic but i am frustrated , i have supported chelsea all these years , its first time we see so less from us

Dear f**king god.....

I'm sure we would've asked the question, but he clearly wants to work with pep again. 

He would've been a great signing, but some things can't be helped. It's not like we could or even should offer him bigger wages than city. 

I think aguero will go in the summer though now, so it isn't a certainty he will even improve them. 

I expect we know the sort of contract City are going to offer and won't and/or can't match it. Plus Arsenal would sell to anybody before us.

I like to think we are concentrating on more realistic targets.

I agree with everything you say.

If we don't sign Sanchez it's a disgrace and I think the fans should air our grievances to the owner at the next match.

Don't think it will happen, but for the price it would be good value, not sure the wages would be worth it, unless he came and we somehow won the CL.

i was not talking about Sanchez , my point is overall team , we do need some good signings , dont forget we face barcelona in CL and we should try and defeat them , we should get some good names and good players

Realistic target = players who want to play for us and not a direct rival and don't expect to be paid 300k/400k a week.

It's pretty clear. Arsenal wont sell to us. He wants city. City will pay him more. It is not as simple as 'if we just offered we'd get him'. We don't want to match stupid offers for a 29 year old and rightly so.

High pressing has never been Hazard's thing. He doesn't have the engine for that. Morata on the other hand..... The way I see it it's clearly a coaching thing. How often do we press? We're just happy to sit back and contain under Conte.
