No, he referred to you as a twat because you called Willian, who was probably the only one pulling his weight during that season, dead weight. There are other ways to describe Willian, dead weight is not one of them, and is a very strange and inexplicable comment.

^Yes.

Strange to see some of us so quick to slag off players like that.

He gives it is all pretty much every game.

people are awfully quick to dismiss players who have stayed loyal to chelsea despite interest over the last couple years and showed their love for the club. sanchez is nothing but another mercenary, and i wouldn't want him near the club. he laughs when his team loses, he sulks when his teammates don't do what he likes, he hogs the ball and runs into blind alleys. yes he can score goals, but we have hazard and morata for that, and pedro and willian put a shift in and help supply us with assists and goals too. i wasn't a big fan of willian a couple seasons ago, but he's shown his loyalty to the club and has become a much improved player since, and certainly one of our more consistent and key players along with pedro.

Absof**kinglutely....some people just want the new shiny thing and don't care what it takes, calling willian deadweight is ridiculous. Sanchez is a disgrace at times for arsenal, all the arms in the air histrionics any time the ball isn't perfect to him, all the sniggering in the bench as they lose again.

I was watching an interview with Chamberlain only yesterday where he talks about each of the players and what they're like.

The one player he spoke about as having the most dedication and determination to improve was Sanchez.

According to him, all he does is football. Earliest to train, trains hardest, spends every moment training even on his own, when others are not.

Maybe Sanchez sees the rest of his teammates happy to be second best on and off the pitch. This is a man, it seems, who is determined to be a champion and has the mentality of a champion.

Manchester City will make a £70m cash bid for Arsenal's Chile forward Alexis Sanchez, 28, and have already sent a team of legal and medical officials to South America to get the deal done as quickly as possible.

Seriously, why aren't we interested?

why would they bring world class here when we can get average overpriced players

We arent interested because it is the dumbest deal of all time.

£60m to effectively have the player for this one season because he is free in 12 months time. Add to that he probably wants a £10m signing on fee and about £400k a week in wages. I wouldn't want us to be interested!

The f**k are you talking about? If you sign him now, he'd sign a 4 or 5 year deal and not be a free-agent in 12 months any more.......

City can have him for free next summer but are going to pay £60m to have him 12 months earlier, it is braindead and only doable by a club to which money means absolutely nothing.

They are effectively willing to pay £60m to have him play for them in the 17/18 season.

and how do u expect chelsea to compete with utd, city, psg, real, barca, if our answer to those team transfers is f**king drinkwater and llorente (we can't even sign those two players), only world class player in this squad is hazard and that's it. why would hazard stay here for the next few years if we can't attract or don't want to put big money bid on world class players because of the logic he will be free in 12 months, yes he WOULD be free in 12 months if he STAYED at arsenal but now he is moving to city, this club will become like arsenal, settle with mediocre players because why spend big money on one world class player who is game changer when u can get 4 players instead, u want to win - u need to spend and with that u improve ur squad. this current chelsea squad is weaker than last year, this is becoming pathetic and our board isn't doing anything, if they continue to do job like this I would be more than happy to see Conte resign, he doesn't deserve this sh*t, especially from person like Marina who is 1/1 retarted, no ambitions from our board at all

Entitled, moaning fans have been saying all this same tripe for about 5 years now and we've won 2 out of the last 3 titles.

Nice rant!! You mention utd, city, psg? How far did all that big spending get those clubs last year. Its not what you spend its how you spend it, all the headlines were about Pogba last yr, but we were the ones that bought the premier league player of the year for a third of the price.

What are you on about? Sanchez is staying, Arsenal don't have a replacement.

Real and probably Bayern are the only sides that looks a clear upgrade over us. The rest of them are around our level, the only position in our first 11 where we're potentially lacking is the WBs and even then it's arguable.

Can someone just explain to me why we’re not making any movements on Alexis Sanchez?

City have offered 20m, not wanting to pay 35m knowing they’d get him for free in the summer. We have absolutely no chance of getting him in the summer, so why don’t we give it a go and offer Arsenal the full price which isn’t even that much for a player like him.

35m.... I’m sure we can afford that?!
