December 12, 20169 yr Yeah this will never happen. Its just policy that it has to be "investigated". Fair or not, we will likely get a fine and while that also doesnt make any sense it doesnt matter much to us. This is just sh*t journalism trying to get everyone riled up one way or another to create clicks. Unfortunately thats what modern day journalism is all about
December 12, 20169 yr Good old English media scum, creating the news rather than just reporting it. And people still believe they have no agendas.
December 12, 20169 yr Would really love to sit on one of the ref/FA/media meetings they have where they conspire against us a club. Can't believe no one involved has blown the whistle on such matchfixing. Such a tight-knit group. I admire their criminality.

It's just not fair on other teams

December 12, 20169 yr The media started this little as Conte said "joke" as like the FA they are the one's that are constantly against this football club. However nothing will come of it as they are not consistent in their punishments. They failed to punish Spurs who had 11 yellow cards last season at the Bridge with us having four, in the City game Aguero made a wild challenge because he is a sour loser and all hell broke loose. Who was to blame? Fabregas for being pushed into the stands or Chalobah who was just defending his teammate? f**k them and bring on Sunderland on Wednesday
December 12, 20169 yr This was a story written by a reporter to fill pages. The FA mentioned that it was something they would look at in future last season. However since then we have been well behaved and this is clearly a very minor incident.

Always tend to see players sent off or banned for that.

Fernandinho already had Fabs by the throat and in fairness it was only a tap and possibly to try and get Fernandinho's attention as he wasn't for listening.

December 13, 20169 yr 0 red cards, nate standing up for a teammate that has been assaulted, our players acting as peacemakers = £100,000 a literal assault from aguero + ihenacho pushing gaz + fernandinho grabbing neck = £35,000 nice logic yea 10/10

How can you judge from the past when we had two different managers last season and a new one this season. New manager new mentality. Really is a joke. Wouldn't happen to any other team.
December 13, 20169 yr Disgraceful by the c**ts at the FA, but not even slightly surprising. What a joke it is now, how on earth can they be fined a third less after getting 2 red cards. f**king c**ts.
December 13, 20169 yr The FA are a joke, just a bunch of corrupt old men who don't understand football, they don't understand how the game works, they don't get that players are human beings who have emotions. Handing out heafty fines for past crimes doesn't make any sense, its absurd, different manager, different season, different game, surely they take that in to account, but they will stick with these ridiculous rules. The instigators only being fined 35 k, makes absolutely no sense, they caused the fracas, but we'll fine them this much because they haven't done it before, it sounds hilarious when you think about it. A kid in school causes a fight, but the teacher suspends the other kid for past incidents, that's what this is like. At the end of the day, they just make this sport look ridiculously soft, their will always be handbags between players, no stupid fine will stop that.
December 13, 20169 yr It'll likely be based on the fact that we've had more "failure to control" players in the past year than them. Like a sliding scale of punishment. I don't think it's a conspiracy
December 13, 20169 yr We really do have to start being a bit more savvy on the pitch. Although generally not the instigators this was our fifth charge in nineteen months, you can bet that a more draconian sentence awaits in the future. Against City we again got involved, Aguero was getting his much deserved red card and thus the media would have had nothing but the challenge to talk about had we not got involved, maybe even a stiffer sentence would have deservedly followed for him. A quick look at how Costa has changed his act has shown that his good behaviour not only has its rewards with better play but the pundits are now taking note of how good a player he is and referees are starting to cut him a bit of slack. Yes it is annoying we have again been fined more than the instigating team but like any sentences awarded for bad behaviour , previous conduct is taken into account. We just aren't learning.
December 13, 20169 yr To be fair 100k for the club is like a 5pound fine to any of us. It was said it was because of past crimes.
December 13, 20169 yr The FA need to be folded and replaced by another organisation. Its rotten from inside out.
December 13, 20169 yr The FA need to be folded and replaced by another organisation. Its rotten from inside out. Please explain. There are rules where you get fined if your players are not under control like in that game. City got 35k because they have been on better behaviour the past season or so and we got 100k because we have been under investigation for the past season and before that quite a lot. Both teams know the rule and the fine is ridiculously low for either of the teams. Is this any kind of reason to get your blood pressure up?
