May 22, 20179 yr Did anyone else notice just after Terry and Cahill lifted the trophy, Hazard and Batshuayi took the trophy as to pose with it and then tried to sneak away from everyone as if to take it and hide, until a club official directed them back for the team photo? They actually got a good distance with it. Eden had a big laugh and smile. He is a bit of the class clown, which is so refreshing after the misery of early last year. Just shows how much the guys can be themselves and have enjoyed the season!!
May 22, 20179 yr Chelsea pay tribute to Jt - scumbags, disgrace to the game etc If exactly the same had been done for Gerrard etc - class etc, club with history, example to others etc
May 22, 20179 yr Looks great. Shame they didn't walk around. f**king sky, hate the way they've ruined football. Edited May 22, 20179 yr by stevo
May 22, 20179 yr Enjoyed watching the celebrations which Sky showed live. Just wish that they had shown the whole game live! Great turn around by Antonio Conte. Long may we reign as League Champions. Great send off to the Chelsea legend John Terry.

This is one criticism of the club that's justified...they can sort out Jt substitution/tribute but can't arrange celebrations in front of all their paying fans? poor that those in east stand and shed end were ignored for so long...fair play to Chalobah for going over to us in shed lower to acknowledge us long before anyone else...many had left by the time the players and Conte walked round.
May 22, 20179 yr I wonder if the celebration was actually planned by the club hierarchy or instead just by the players? Edited May 22, 20179 yr by Strider6003
May 22, 20179 yr I suppose we shouldn't be shocked or offended. Supporters are the least important aspect to a club. At the level Chelsea are at for every supporter they loose there will be a hundred waiting to buy a ticket. Tv, merchandise sales and public image come first.
May 22, 20179 yr As the Jt furore gets all the more ridiculous, it feels like the angst is coming from a bunch of people who are complaining about a party they weren't invited too and are upset about the way it was run. In other words, it really has nothing to do with them so why are they getting so upset?

Whats all this about? I was there in 2010 and 2015 and on both occasions the team walked with the trophy around the ground. Did they not do it this time? If so why not?

They did eventually, but took ages...many just gave up waiting...they stood in front of West stand mostly and when they did break off, it was too the Matthew Harding end
May 23, 20179 yr I was in the Matthew Harding Upper and thought they spent too much time in one place.
