December 1, 20178 yr England have Belgium, Tunisia, Panama not too bad of a group really Edited December 1, 20178 yr by Jezq8
December 1, 20178 yr Well, England should at least finish runner up in that group.......but it's England, so you never know, it's just as likely that they will cock up and finish 3rd or 4th.

You would think so. but it would be unlike England to cock up. hoping for a draw against Belgium and a win against panama and Tunisia
December 1, 20178 yr Author Stones v KDB Cahill v Hazard Vertonghen v Ali Kane v Alderweireld Kompany v Sterling Walker v Kompany Lukaku v Jones Stones v Kompany Tibo v Tammy??
December 1, 20178 yr Oh no... I'm at that stage where I'm starting to imagine what it would feel like if England won the world cup.

Belgium can also enjoy a good cock up and with martinez at the helm .............................

December 1, 20178 yr France with their legendary luck ... utterly dross teams, safe for Danemark. But they'll get a very hard round of 16 as they'll face either argentina or croatia... and even if they draw iceland or nigeria, they'll sh*t their pants a bit! but for a team of that quality, this is piss poor easy! England getting some lucky draw as well too! But Belgium will top the group. Not that important insofar as england will get a pretty fair round of 16 with either colombia or poland. QF is a possibility then. Argentina got shafted tbf. Morocco unfortunately got shafted big time with spain and portugal. But the portuguese can bottle big time in the WC... Germany are already qualified for the QF. Brazil too.
December 1, 20178 yr Although Southgate has achieved very little in senior management I am cautiously optimistic that bringing through these youngsters will reap benefits. I think part of our problem has been the players that can't be benched that has ruined our progress in previous tournaments.
December 4, 20178 yr It´s time for Belgium to make some noise, hoping to catch a game or two in St. Petersburg as it´s not more than 400km from my hometown, also hoping not to get stabbed. The plan is to wear all beige, not to give away any clues about being a football fan or any allegiances. We´ll see what happens.
December 4, 20178 yr Belgiums golden generation is following Englands lead by being wasted under crap managers.

December 30, 20178 yr Probably the most open World Cup ever. Not one team you could say is the favourite. Heard a lot of folk are going Brazil but defensively they worry me. Maybe Belgium could make a final. Got a feeling Lionel will have the tournament of his life and carry Argentina all the way to the promise land. If anyone deserves it, he does. The greatest ever bowing at international level on the greatest stage in all of sports.
December 30, 20178 yr Agree and it is nice in a way no pre-tournament favourites stick out though expect Germany to be in the mix.
December 31, 20178 yr No Italy, no Holland and no Chile... Takes away some of the shine. Lots of easy uninteresting groups. What is it with Nigeria and Argentina? Always seem to be in the same group. I think, looking at how well the English clubs are doing this season in Europe and with a lot of the English players doing well, there's going to be big expectations again. March 22, 20188 yr germany will certainly win it again. argentina out after QF. England to lose on pens on QF too. France will stop in QF methinks. Portugal may reach the final. Brazil in the semis with Uruguay/Spain.
March 22, 20188 yr Belgium on paper should go very deep in the tournament. Maybe reaching the final is the minimum expectation for them. Should be a cracking final no matter what. Those Germans will find their way to the final. German efficiency.
March 22, 20188 yr If he finds the right formula they could quiet easily make a final. He's got some talented players all over the park.
