Luiz needs to sort his head out. Hazard needs to swap sides or something as well. This has happened before where an opposition coach has set up to stifle him and he goes missing. He’s dropping way too deep atm

They marked Jorginho out of the game so David Luiz has to be the one to try to create something with his passing. This is causing the rest of the attackers to have to drop deeper to collect. 

Kovacic is low-key our best player right now. You can see him trying to create some chemistry with Hazard but it seems like them the frequent rotations and them not playing together in a while has made them kinda out of sync with each other.

 

This half would be rounded up nicely by Everton goal. 

Alonso should be booked here. 

First time in the game Jorginho and Kovacic had the courage to pass forward and we had a good combination.
