    Mudryk and Caicedo were risks and uncertainty about their future, so Arsenal drifted. And Rice is a fairly self-sufficient, established footballer, so Arsenal could go all in.

    What football decisions is he going to be responsible for? I'm reading he will be in charge of commercial operations/obtaining new revenue sources.

    I heard he will be the owners right hand man, so Vivell, Stewart and the rest along with Tom Glick will report to him.

    Was Glick ever the owners right hand man? Don't think this role was ever filled. Glick is still responsible for the global business strategy/multi club infrastructure, and I think he will report to Jurasek given it looks like he is responsible for maintaining sustainable profitability. (New revenue sources, sponsorships, etc). 

    There are so many people added to the club I'm just waiting for my job invite.

    Apparently the owners have informed Stewart ànd Winstanley their priorities this summer is selling off multiple first team squad players.

    They don't wat more Bakayoko and Baba Rahmen loans going on and on, only wanting to loan players believed to have a real shot at joining the first team in the future and needing more game time.

    Puts a lot of pressure on those directors to deliver sales.

    Agreed but I don’t blame the new ownership completely. If the sale of our club was more organic versus being rushed and strong armed by the government the new owners (like most owners) would have had the time to set up operations of the back room before the sale was finalized and also probably have more time to learn. The situation forced Boehly into being interim director and basically learning on the job until the back room seats were filled. It led to everything turning into a sh*t show.

    Story in the Mail this morning that they felt Marina's ties to Abramovich were too much of a political banana skin if she stayed, so she had to go. They wanted to keep Cech, but it was his decision to leave. They admit they made a mistake in binning off Tuchel.

    On the other hand, how long would Tuchel have put up with the ignorant, interfering new owners? There were already issues on the pre-season US trip alongside Tuchel going through an extremely difficult personal time with his marriage break-up. I suspect it would have all ended in tears anyway.

    Peter Kenyon was one of the worst things that ever happened to this club. It is the reason why we should not make appointments like these.

    These "owners" sure do like the sound of their own voices as well as being in the press always. They just can't shut it, can they?

    Usually, the cost of the mistake is found out later. And maybe they are trying to apologize to Tuchel in this way.

    Apparently, they already have a concrete vision for business expansion. And hiring Jurasek is a formality, without which Jurasek would not have participated. I doubt he was hired before he proposed his strategy.
