Have they sorted out which clubs and agents that have profited from out SDs purchases?

Absolutely this. Would not surprise me one bit to learn that we have paid over inflated transfer fees (Gittens springs to mind, amongst others) whilst some of their preferred agents have profited. They are either naive enough to have been strung along by agents, incompetent beyond the level we already know they are, or they have got their hands in the till. At this point, nothing would surprise me.

at This rate I think this could be a massive scandal - who is to check there aren’t parachute payments to boehly and the SD in some offshore accounts.. or some favours from the firms of these agents ..

Mendes 100%.

I posted this ages ago but there’s a scene from the HBO show Succession about a guy who bought a 3rd tier Spanish club via the recommendation of a football agent who just spoon fed him players. Agent got fat fees for the transfers and when the club made it to the first division the bloke sold the club for a hefty profit.

Only difference is that these twats think it’ll work for one of the biggest clubs in the league.

I think they are idiots the lot of them. Or maybe they are cleverer than we think and are just lining their pockets.

Football is awash with money but there is a limit. When you spend £60m on a teenager that player really has to kick on for you to turn a profit…. A real one not book value bo**ocks, this book value crap just papers over the cracks. I mean why even worry about sell ons if book value runs down and how many clubs in world football can spend that sort of money…very few.

If you’re signing players for £5-10m there’s plenty of upside but who takes him at £60m+?

It’s the same with the club, who’s giving them £5b+? Especially after they’ve run it into the ground.

An investigation into agents would be welcome, I can’t believe the amount of business with Brighton, ex city players etc is all coincidental, it’s jobs for the boys back handers and brown envelopes everywhere. It’s blatant if you ask me.

Yes. 1 watched it a few days ago, really informative. That football boardroom site is one of the best ones for analysing the business of football.

Yeah it is. I only found them this morning. Their conversation about Leicester and the state of the EFL is enlightening.

As a footballing lawyer once said .. "I arrive for meetings in a black cab ... the player arrives in a Ferrari ... and his agent arrives in a helicopter ... 😎

The amount of PR we are going to be seeing the next few weeks on how the project is still alive because we made the FA Cup final 🤢.

Anyone who’s watched the game knows that we scraped through without playing very well. City will have a meal day in the final, unfortunately.

Just have to look at what they did to us at the bridge. That's was when they only tried for 1 half.

Not sure that one game is going to breathe new life into their project as much as they can try to spin it.

If we somehow manages to win it, all will be forgiven😄

City who scraped through against Southampton?

Good article on the BBC Football website about Leicester's situation. Complete f**kwittery. King Power, the owners, still haven't recovered financially from the Covid downturn. Players still on PL wages, they borrowed against future income - eg, player sale instalments - to keep the ship afloat, so no future income on top of vastly reduced TV rights in League One. They have further to fall.

You're right as far as the score line goes, but City dominated Southampton and were the better team. We just had a good first half. But yes, it is a final so anything can happen, I just don't see us playing better than City.

WILL CHELSEA AND STRASBOURG BE ALLOWED IN THE SAME COMPETITION?

At UK Companies House, co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali stood down as directors of BlueCo Data Limited on 28 February. They are still on the west London club's board.

If the two clubs are permitted into the same competition, and following past precedent, it is likely they would not be allowed to trade players until January 2028.

At one stage, it looked as if Chelsea would be in the Champions League, but their form has nosedived to such an extent that they might not make Europe via the league at all.

Strasbourg are eighth in Ligue 1 and have a small chance of qualifying domestically - but if they win the Conference League, they will earn a place in the Europa League.

Uefa says that a European titleholder must get European football, but there is no clause to cover this in the MCO regulations.

Chelsea are in the FA Cup final - and if they win it, that would also result in Europa League football.

There could be a decision for Uefa to make.
