June 17, 20206 yr I had thought the goal line technology was super sophisticated, but that does not appear to be the case . Seems more like tennis linecall (Hawkeye) technology, where a person between the sensor and the line can block it from making a decision. I had figured the sensors were under the ground in the goal line between the posts so that a blocking problem due to a person could not happen, but apparently not.

Shouldn't they have alerted Michael Oliver & advised him to take a look at the replay? I know there is a review booth at the tunnel entrance. Is that there for show?

June 17, 20206 yr Unwatchable for me. Hope when it's Chelsea I feel differently. Apparently the Hawkeye tech failed as the keeper blocked every camera. It's never happened in 9000 games. Interesting.

June 17, 20206 yr 2 injuries already for Arsenal. Ouch. The fake crowd is definitely needed. Too quiet otherwise
June 17, 20206 yr I wouldn’t be shocked if Arsenal won, given how everyone’s been writing them off all week
