May 24, 20206 yr Ballack has upset some of Liverpool's lot by suggesting that Van Dijk has had it easy compared to previous great CB's because of the lack of top strikers in the game today. He's not wrong though. The quality of strikers in the game now isn't that great. There were all kinds of different strikers around 10-15 years ago, even the average ones at the time were better than a lot of today's strikers. Van Dijk is possibly the best CB in the game right now, but that doesn't mean he is on the same levels of the greats from the previous 2 decades.

I don’t believe this for a second, it’s not like Liverpool fans to overreact to and act like their victims!

With the exception of Kane and Aguero how many top rater strikers are there in the Premier League. Apologies if I've missed out anyone. Compared, as you, say to 10-15 years ago when there were a lot more, Van Djik. Compared to the likes of Terry, Vidic, Adams to name only three, Van Djik wouldn't get a look in.
May 25, 20206 yr Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffers potential career ending injury Would be sad if this is it for Zlatan, excellent character and in hindsight should have been the player we targeted to replace Drogba instead of trying to make it work with Torres.
May 26, 20206 yr Apparently some experts have said that Liverpool’s champions league game against Atletico is probably responsible for some corona related deaths. Same old scousers, always murdering.

With hindsight that would have been an intriguing match up Zlatan with the Chelsea faithful, TBF if he started scoring they would have loved him no doubt. Here's the thing though I don't recall CFC fans or media outlets linking us with him back before the 2010s.
May 26, 20206 yr I see Sheringham encouraging Kane to move on in the news today. Would probably be the move of the transfer window if it happens.

June 17, 20206 yr Damn, i was hoping we wouldn't have to play Bayern again this season.Haha same here. Just about forgot what happened last time, no need to be reminded. On the other hand, it's been a strange season, most will remember it as such. It will be good for our young boys to face one of the best teams in the world again.
June 17, 20206 yr I just have no excitement for the resumption of the season, didn';t even think about watching these games tonight and really not fussed about ours. In my head the season has already finished, this just seems like a pointless exercise.
June 17, 20206 yr So far, this is exactly what I was expecting from the restart. Dull and lifeless. The banners on the seats, the drinks breaks, the various black lives matters gestures, it's all making it feel more a testimonial/friendly than an actual match. The fake crowd noise was just embarrassing.

When Liverpool finally win it I will need a social media black out.
June 17, 20206 yr Jack Grealish latest ridiculous haircut has done nothing to correct his balance then.
June 17, 20206 yr That looks a lot like a complete failure of the goal line tech to me. The game's even more of a farce.
