The dippers are just too clinical in their finishing. Our team creates chances but can't score them lately (how many times have we hit the wood in the last three games?). Liverpool were not that dangerous until the second goal, which came out of a scramble in front of the area and Mane scored. Until then, Palace wasted some chances and they were opening them up. That second goal basically killed them.

We hit the woodwork 3 times and 2 of those came from Zouma headers. So not really "creating" chances. We're just not that good and Liverpool are. They are able to create a million clear cut chances and they just keep coming at you even if they're not playing that good and ofc something has to give like in that Spurs game.

Palace may be 1-0 down to Liverpool but I can see them getting something from this game, they have opened them up on numerous occasions but have been terrible with the final pass.

That didn't end well for Palace and my predixtion but they somewhat dominated the game up until they went 2-0 down after which they just completely lost the plot.

So Zouma's headers don't count for you? Liperpool had done nothing until that second goal, Mane scored what we would have hit the post. Had we scored any of the posts, maybe we could have won the Everton game.

I'm talking about chances from open play. Those headers from corners were by no means easy or clear cut chances.

Well there is Liverpools marker. Will take a real effort to stop them. Can see only United with all their favourable treatment standing a chance.

De Bruyne was MOTD for me (didn't see all of it) and that is ominous for us as when he plays well City normally win.

Cancelo looks better every time I see him.

The Saints put up a good fight yet were lightweight upfront and could not get Vestergaard onto any of the corners.

9 points behind Liverpool, not yet halfway through the season.

Cannot see us catching them. They are just a cut above us at the mo and would not surprise me if we are 25 points or so off them at the end of the season.

With Cities win we drop to 8th.

Ironic that Arsenal’s only chant is about being the greatest team the world has ever seen. Must have been composed by Stevie Wonder.

Apart from his thatch of hair and being the cone and bib handler for Pep, I don’t see what Arteta offers. Saying that give him time. At least until Boxing Day.

Yh some of the things this team keep on doing is unforgiveable, all the red cards and that's not even counting el neny against Burnley and Cabellos today.

In addition on one of the corners today all the players were crowding the Pickford on an out swinging corner which seemed bizarre, Arteta is clearly out of his depth.

How many have said that about Frank?

Yeah they have a sh*te squad granted, but he is not exactly getting the most out of them. The sendings off are a symptom of them not giving a f**k.

Things being said and the reality are 2 different things, Lampard has us operating at the level we are currently at whereas Arteta is sitting 15th with Arsenal operating way below expected standards.

Yes Arteta won the FA Cup and unfortunately for us Taylor didn't want us lifting the cup but the honeymoon period is truly over for Arteta.
