I'm kind of glad it's United rather than City simply because I feel like City with Ronaldo would be nearly impossible to contend with.  

United is going to be tough with Ronaldo and they could easily win the league or the CL or both.  But I don't feel like they are completely unbeatable.

Also, it's not like Juve dominated with Ronaldo in their team. They got no closer to winning the Champions League and they even struggled for a top 4 spot last season.

True but I don't think the talent around him was that good.  

He probably has better talent around him now at Man U than he did at Juve.  

 

However with City it would have been worse.  They won the EPL handily, reached the finals of the CL and semi's of the FA cup.   They were pretty darn close to cleaning up and winning everything.   Add Ronaldo into that mix and they likely would have.

Must be one of the strongest PL to date. Almost all of the top strikers in the world are in the PL.
