November 7, 20214 yr Anybody got a replay of the VAR decision not to give a red card to West Ham. f**k Liverpool and everything, but from the images I have seen, I can't understand how West Ham aren't a man down.
November 7, 20214 yr Author Not sure whether this matters, but it didn't seem to be intentional. Looked like Cresswell initially went in low then was somehow upended when he made contact the ball. Speaking of Cresswells, did anyone catch that Richard Cresswell's son came off the bench for Leeds this afternoon?
November 7, 20214 yr The quality of full back / wing backs in the Premier League right now is probably the best it's ever been.

November 7, 20214 yr if it’s other wa around scouser gets a pen and spammer gets a red 7 and a half minutes Edited November 7, 20214 yr by mojo
November 7, 20214 yr Not sure why West Ham went so defensive when they went a goal up. They are clearly good enough right now to hurt Liverpool.
November 7, 20214 yr Just now, Scott Harris said: That was a dive by Jota. I think they are instructed to role around to influence the ref
November 7, 20214 yr I see Sky have got Neville back on Man Utd games and Carragher back on Liverpool games.
November 7, 20214 yr A few talking points, that challenge by Cresswall certainly a contender for a red. WHU' s goal looked close to obstruction though can see why not given. Salah diving over Rice's standing legs to win the equalising freekick. Jota jumping into Ogbonna raising his elbow on the blind side. Lastly, Antonio put through and loses the ball.
November 7, 20214 yr Not watching sky but have they covered the Salah dive for the free kick from which they scored.
November 7, 20214 yr Just read an article about Clattenburg where he admits that he gave a penalty to balance a game out so he wouldn't be blamed for a decision given earlier in the game. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/mark-clattenburg-champions-league-final-b1952067.html I don't think this guy realises that he is tarnishing his name with the stuff he comes out with. I'm glad he admits to it though, it proves that the fans aren't just a bunch of sore losers when decisions don't go their way.

The irony is the best whistleblowing some refs do is after they have retired and want to stay relevant or sell a book.

Could be the ref today saw the challenge during halftime and now is more likely to send a West Ham player off
