Why should we be afraid of anyone, especially PSG? We are the champions of Europe, bring anyone on, the opponent doesn't matter. If we want to be successful this season we have to beat the best teams. Even if we finish second in the group it's not a big deal.

Having watched PSG a few times this season, I genuinely don't get the hype. Every single one of Rennes, Club Brugge, Marseille and Leipzig completely outplayed them. Big names aren't important at all.

Afraid no, respectful yes. Bayern are a force, best avoided if possible as that would be hard to overcome.

Tbf it's not just United fans that have an obsession with long term managers, I've even argued against other Chelsea fans who are desperate for one despite all the success we've had changing managers when nessesery.

The key difference between us and United/Arsenal is we don't have an owner willing to exploit our fanbase for having romantic/idealistic views.

I honestly don't care whether you want manager to build team for 2 years or 8 years. But building around 34+36 years old st doesn't sound like long term plan.

Fans are just funny, a lot of them said United are not ready to win now. So what is the point of signing Ronaldo if you are not ready to win now.

The talk of "it does not matter who we face" or "we are not afraid of anybody" are just bs. Every team want easy draw.

Agree, lets face the difficult teams later or in the finals...why now ? In case we get dumped then huge loss on revenues as well.

I heard a lot of United fans doesn't want Conte because he is just a short term manager and "United way" is about building long term success. The same fans also think that signing a 36 years old st and catering the team around him is a brilliant idea. 😅😅

The United Way. Hahaha. They are carrying on like its 2010. They've had four permanent managers since Fergie quit. That's only 1 less than us and we've won a CL and two PLs in that time to their diddly squat.

Exactly. You put us on the other side of the draw last year needing to beat the PSGs and Bayerns of the world and it would have been much tougher. Deeper you go the more money you make. An easy ride into the QFs is worth millions.

Like I said before insta likes and marketing dollars. That's why you buy a 36 year old striker who is arguably the most well known sports person in the world. That or they thought they could genuinely win this year with Varane and Sancho coming in.

Howe could actually guarantee Newcastle's relegation. He is one of the worst defensive coaches around, which isn't something you want when you are in the relegation spots.

One or two good defenders in January and they are staying up. With the current state of their defence it could be hard time for any manager.

Think the Manchester derby will be a close game, United won't press high again, they will just contend with defend deep and banking on the opportunities for Ronaldo to arrive at some stage in the game. City will dominate possession and play, but no striker to finish off most of the clear cut chances
