There have been rumours going about that we are after Chiesa. I really believe he is a player we should go for, very talented with his feet and great pace, as well as an eye for goal.

He reminds me of Robben a bit with his style and would definitely improve us in an attacking sense.

Have to make sure we sign the right person, don’t want to end up with Piss Face…

 

I don’t see why Juventus would sell him or why he would want to leave. They reportedly turned down a 100m bid from us last summer.

Money for them, ambition for him.

Juve don't own him yet, he's there on loan. They have an option to buy at the end of the season though. 

Could we realistically even pay for him considering that we will most likely try to get a defender like Kounde and a midfielder like Touchmani? Those two are probably 140m signings.

Things are as realistic or unrealistic as Roman desires. If he wanted to go on another spree like in 2004 or 2005 he can, FFP is relaxed because of covid.

So is it to him, however I feel in the main he now wants to see the best and brightest of our academy fill a lot of spots and only buy where we lack in the academy.

Probably even more inforced now as his big signing completely embaressed him. Bet he wished he told TT to work with this guy instead:

That s so sad. I was hoping we could do a deal with with Juve for Chiesa with Lukaku going the other way. Such an excellent player and hardwoker would suit Tuchel's team to a T. No pun intended 😜😜😜

Maybe not in terms of end product this season but in terms of ability he's arguably the best player in Juventus. And without wanting to sound mean, I do think we dodged a bullet there, not because Chiesa is a bad player but because of everything else, we would be paying a lot for a winger only to play him in some hybrid position of an inside forward.

I guarantee this guy will be the Italian Pulisic. The Premier League is far more intense & gruelling.

Liverpool fans suddenly making out he is the second coming of Salah make me laugh. It took Salah time at Fiorentina and Rome before he went on to bigger things, and Klopps system was literally made for him.

Not first sadly not the last. ACL often is a career killer, least at the top level

Most naturally talented of this Italian striker generation. The ACL was only the start of his problems. Leg injuries galore.

I know he plays for the scousers but this really sadness me. Was a great player in his pomp.
