Can't find anything from the club that confirms this went through, so I'm assuming we missed the deadline.

Being a 16 year old I am not too sure the club would go into too much detail but there were plenty of reports around 10-11 Jan that he had Ben signed

Here you go, from a Chelseafc..com report on an under 18’s match:

New signing Travis Akomeah seems to have settled well following his move from Watford as he could be seen marshalling the defence alongside his peers.

I meant Mason Burstow 😂

Looks like we manage to push through a deal for Charlton Athletic's 18 year old striker Mason Burstow, who is remaining there on loan this season:

So him and Dylan Williams as hopes for the future then.

So what you’re saying is we signed two players after your bold claim we wouldn’t sign anyone?

BTW Happy called and was a bit confused, he was hoping you could help him figure out who he plays for. 😉

Looks like he’s off on a permanent transfer to Hull with only a year left in his current deal.

Good luck to him. Struggled for game time on loan at Sunderland. No real surprise. The times I saw him he looked a bit out of his depth. Cost us £1.8m.

From what I read we will recoup the fee ( which didn’t reach the £1.8 million) and a bit on top

Again I am led to believe there is a sell on clause.

Saw him a couple of times just didn’t look as a player that was developing

I don’t know if many noted but I see that Diego Moreira has also been sold. He was a free transfer and we got a € 2.8 million fee for loaning him out in 23/24 and a fee of €2.2 million transfer fee. It was said  his wage was €10k a week or €520k a year so save agent fees etc it’s fair to assume a profit, not massive, but a profit none the less of a few million € .

It’s worth watching over the next  few days not just players that we move on but also players moved on by other clubs . Players like Ghui who if were sold for the fee that Palace have turned down of £60 would lead to circa £8 million in respect of ad ons. There is by my calculation circa £2 million due in respect of add ons detailed in the compensation settlement that Liverpool had to honour when they signed him ( x %  all transfer profit they made and that didn’t just stop when he was sold to Bournemouth

We rarely get to hear about these add ons( contingent liabilities) but they really shouldn’t be sneezed at

Interestingly reports now coming out of France are that Moreira ‘s fee was actually €8 million

It also now seems that Humphrey has now gone on Lao to Burnley with an obligation to buy. Seems to be £10+ million
