We’ve Won It All

Featured Replies

One of the lads we regularly see at SB always got wound up when our fans chanted We’ve won it all because, well , we hadn’t.

I started supporting Chelsea as a 11 year old just prior the the FA Cup final against Spurs. At that point in time we had won  the league  once in 1955 and one league cup in 1965.

Now as a 65 , soon to be 66 year old git we have won the league multiple times, FA cup and League Cup  again multiple times, CL twice EL twice, Cup Winners Cup twice, European Super Cup and now of course the Club World Cup.

Not bad for a club that some ignorant muppets say hasn’t got any history!

Just as an update on this when I said to  my brother in law ( a Spurs ST holder ) we had won it all , responded by pointing out we hadn’t won the UEFA Conference, after my shake of the head , I told him we hadn’t ever won the FA Trophy either ( open to senior  non league teams)

Well I certainly aren’t going to change my view but does sort of prove the point about other clubs jealously as much as anything because at this point in time no one has and even then I am not too sure many consider it up there with meaningful trophies

We've won the full members cup and under its different alias the Zenith Data Cup too. Didn't do too well in the Anglo Scots Cup though.

Feel the same, started supporting Chelsea when my dad took me to my first match - Ray Wilkins was Captain and from the minute I came out of Fulham Broadway station I was hooked.  Spent years never expecting to win anything and when they built the MH stand I bought a 5 year season ticket so I could pick my seat - everyone laughed as we were in the bottom half of the table and Wisey had just been done for the taxi driver incident.  The rest is history, never thought I'd ever see us win one Champions League trophy 'with the big ears' let alone two!  As for Champions of the World - stuff that dreams are made of.

My first game home game was against Arsenal in 1969, a school teacher ( a big Gooner) arranged a trip we had to stand in the away end  as I say Chelsea was my team from 1967. SB in those days was a wreck

We lived about 125 miles from SB  which was quite a journey Southampton away ( Southampton is about an hour on the train) was my first ever Chelsea game. It was John Dempseys debut and we lost 5-0. I stood in the Southampton end in what they called the chocolate boxes. The Dell Southampton was also a wreck

My first game was QPR away and we lost 3-1 in Sept 87.

Great support, a pitch invasion and police horses on the pitch.

I had gone as I was getting a lot of health symptoms trying to play sport and CFC was recommendation by a friend of a friend through work.

He became a season ticket holder and gave it up 2 years ago as too expensive now being a father.
