Could have done with his touch and composure on the ball today. Palmer was way off it - and Felix could have been a great option to help him out.

Yeah definitely a great idea bringing on Flicky tricky waste of space against a team defending deep with no space in banks.....would have had zero impact as usual.

I think he does rate Felix but realizes he can only really play as a 10 and you cant drop Cole Palmer.

As @dkwhas said put Palmer on the right, he is best there anyways.

Vs Everton he could have brought on either Felix or Nkunku and moved Palmer right if he was not willing to sub him.

could have put Felix on the left as well, but Maresca wants his wide men to work back as hard as fullbacks, which is something Palmer and Felix don't do so why he won't use them there.

I wonder how good Estevaos working back is?

Tbf Felix has been running and pressing this season, much more than Nkunku has been. Felix worked hard in the two PL starts he had

He has been improving there for sure, but Maresca still seems reluctant to use him.

I mean a windy Goodison Park, passes and crosses flying all over the place, you would think the one guy who basically shoots on sight, and the wind may catch one of those shots and fool Pickford and win us the game, may come on.

Thats because you dont like him

I think that's allowed.

Easy to say that though, people will complain if we dont go on to win the game.

There are games where he gets no space to operate, we can see it, the manager can see it and yet he persists in keeping him on, he either has to work it out himself how to create the space or the manager does by changing the game plan....and while he can grab a goal out of nothing, but when he's having an off day the manager needs to make these big decisions on behalf of the team.

If you are chasing a goal to win a game, and especially against low blocks and physical teams, Felix is not a player I'd trust to give us the three points. So I think that it is understandable that Maresca did not dare to bring him on.

I mean you can dislike a player and still think they played well....

Yep, Sanchez has done that a few times now.  Had a really good game.  I still do not feel that he is the GK for us in the long-term.

With Felix it is harder to say as he really hasn't played that much.  Jury is still out on him.

100% im not convinced by Felix either but its nonsense to say he played badly VS Leicester and Southampton.

That is outrageous. I always 100% support every chelsea player who pulls on the shirt. Without fail, and no exceptions. Honest.

Just as I've stood behind Pulisic as one man.

And in front if Carlo Cudicini....shaking your money maker.

Found his level, lets see if Leicester want to sign him with their parachute payment so he can keep showing up against championship level teams next season.
