Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!

I’ve seen otherwise but I’ll take your word for it as you live there but that’s not really the point anyway.

I doubt anyone would question macalisters defensive prowess and yet he’s only 2 off Fernandez, so forgive me if I don’t hold much value in this dribbled past stat. If I was to guess a lot of these would be down to Fernandez being so high up the pitch to begin with but without a breakdown it’s a pretty useless stat.

luxury player

There's no way you're comparing Enzo to Eden PMSL

Clearly very different players, in different positions, with different roles.

My point remains that sometimes being a "luxury player" as you accused Enzo of being, isn't necessarily a bad thing.

It is when you don't win games on your own. You can be a luxury player when you're on Eden's level. You can't if you're Enzo or Felix. This is basic stuff.

ahh ok...

let's scrub off his goal and assist against leicester, his goal against spurs, the winning goal assist against brentford, the winning goals against spurs (in the second game), the assist for the winning goal against everton.

Let's scrub out all them and the points that come with them.... where does that leave us in the table?

God forbid we mention Jackson opening the scoring against Leicester, being involved in all 3 goals against West Ham in the win, winning goal against Everton etc. Giess we can agree he's a game winner then.

I cannot fathom anyone would try to argue that Enzo is a game changer on his own.

As i have acknowledged multiple times - Jackson played well against west ham, and for 10 mins against leicester. His 2 best games for us. He also had 2 good runs against newcastle. Those were his only worthy contributions.

He was sh*t against everton - but Enzo set him up beautifully that even he couldn't miss.

the irony of your posts with who you defend and the parallels of their performances with who you hate is funny, keep it up

The fact you are comparing world cup winning midfielder to our misfit striker is astounding. A

clearly arguing for the sake of it....

Enzo is a young player with big potential - who is clearly a good footballer - albeit one who needs to improve the physical side of the game.

The Donkey is a brain dead moron who can't shoot, pass or head. He is a hinderance who is beyond hope.

Did he win the world cup for Chelsea? I couldn't care less what players do for other teams.

You started this arguing.. Again.. Like you do everywhere on this forum like a disease.

Jackson is younger than Enzo BTW and clearly has potential. His attributes are clear but hasn't had the luxury of being in an academy from the age of 6 like others so lacks football IQ. Keep calling him brain dead because of the circumstances of his upbringing though, classy as always Jimmy boy.

We don't owe jackson an education. Just because he hasn't had it - doesn't mean we should give it to him. He is hopeless.

Enzo on the other hand - can control a ball. Plus 1 on the donkey straight away....

Lacking football IQ is worth months of vile personal abuse but coasting through his club career and racially abusing his team mates is worth defending. Got it, understand where your morals lie.

Enzo didn't racially abuse anyone. Stupid yes. Racist no. Fairly sure you agreed about that. and were also defending him on the same....might be able to dig out the old posts.

Not surprised by you defending racism.

I am not defending racism. I think his actions were stupid, xenophobic, but not racist.

Your words now are ironic....

Defending racism while Chelsea are winning, further proof you're not a fan.

He doesn't run or defend well, in a 3 man midfield he'd be alright but in a double 6 Caicedo-Lavia would be much better

It's because he can't run or defend well. I've been saying it all season, he doesn't have the agility for this league. So many times he is forced to rush the pass because his body cannot react quick enough. Ask Enzo to pick up the ball, take a touch, turn and play a quick pass with a player rushing at him to close him down, and he will struggle. Every single touch from Enzo needs to be immaculate because his body won't allow him to make up for any kind of loose touch.

Really disappointed in him tonight. We badly needed someone to stand up and take charge, set an example. He hasn’t done any of that, I don’t even remember one thing he’s done all game, apart from maybe trying to outpace their full back Dorgu.

At the moment I look to Palmer, Madueke and Enzo to stand up and create a goal out of nothing. They all were really disappointing, with Palmer the best out of a bad bunch.

I just wish at least one of them would be as consistent as Caicedo.

Lavia has looked good every time I've seen him play, he just needs to stay fit
