May 20, 20251 yr A lot of noise on Enzo to Real Madrid this summer.I’ll be absolutely delighted if we get our money back for him, or even more. We don’t need him, especially not when Santos is coming back.
May 20, 20251 yr Author Think his remaining book value is at £77m-£80m?There's reports in Brazil that we've reached out to Rodrygo's camp, so if a deal can be agreed with the player I can see a scenario where we work with Real on a player swap in some fashion.
May 20, 20251 yr Rodrygo plus £20m for Enzo.If this happens then there is a god. Madueke on the left, Palmer in the middle, Rodrygo on the right and Neto on the bench.I see the vision, Maresca can make this work.

May 21, 20251 yr Enzo sits a bit on the fence. His skillset is excellent, he seems to be always available but there is that little feeling Premier League is not the best league for him due to the up and down quality of it. His lack of pace really stands out in the games. In Chamoions League and many other domestic league he will produce a ton of goals and assists. What I appreciate of him is his personality. We need heads like his much more in the team. He is my favorite player in the team alongside Moi and Reece but I would think about the sell if we get what we paid for even if it pains me to say it. If Lavia wasn't made of glass this would be much easier. I would love him to stay naturally but deep down I feel he is probably not the best solution for us.

Only played on the right for Madrid because Vinicius has the left wing position locked. In other words we desperately need a top left winger and Rodrygo fits the criteria. If he is available and we get UCL football, we better be in for him. He is a world class winger no doubt about it.

Noni for example looks better on the left imo.
May 21, 20251 yr We've got bigger problems than Enzo. If he's happy ot stay, that's fine. If he desperately wants to move, which I could certianly understand for any of our players really, since the project they were sold is a lie, then that's ok too, but we'd need a decent replacement.

The Premier league is so far ahead of La Liga, never mind the Brazilian league when it comes to intensity and physicality. Yamal has been nurtured by Barca for decades to walk into their team. Going into the season without a seasoned pro would be suicide. Estevao should be eased in slowly over the next year.

We're relying on what "they" say because we've never watched him play, and he hasn't even played in any European football. Look at Endrick, he was the second coming and he's been eased into Real Madrid and hasn't ripped La Liga apart. I find it normal to be cautious with the expectations about these young players. After all, it's the sporting directors getting these players, and they've got most of them horribly wrong.

Age doesn’t matter, if he’s good enough he’ll start games.

Carlos - at Palmeras until he was 23Cafu - at Sau Paolo until he was 25R9 - didn't reach a top European league until he was 20We probably do have a superstar on our hands, but not for another few years. He's a child, putting ridiculous expectations on him is counter-productive and why we see so many youngsters fail. There is no scenario where he should be starting straight away.
