I'm thinking more in an attacking sense. Gives James and Chilwell a bit more freedom going forward (especially to cut inside the pitch where I think James is best, never been that keen on him as a hug the touchline FB/WB) and Fofana's biggest strength in possesion is his dribbling ability so he could drive forward knowing Silva and Badia are still back there.

So inadvertently it could actually help us in attack.

Actually Chilwell under tuchel was doing well cutting inside to shooting position. Under Conte Moses did the same sometimes. Wing backs have more attacking  positional freedom than the rest of the team in  a  good wingback system. Under Potter it’s Felix who roams.

I'd be interested to see us deploy wingbacks again, have to wonder if there's a hesitation from potter to change up the system again though

No matter how bad we are we always know how to ruin Spurs party, not worried 2-0 win.

Without a doubt, time to turn our season around (a bit) !

This  is a full blooded London derby  and there is no place for soft players  who lay on the floor after being hit

Potter needs his battle players for this one   if not we will be bullied of the pitch  i dont think we have any with exception to Gallagher, Mount,  Zakaria who will get stuck in   the spuds have some bloody big buggers who will remember battle of the bridge  Potter should play that for our new guys to see what they are going to be in for saying that heart says 1-2  come on you Blues

I have a good feeling about this game performance/result wise, in fact i will put my neck on the block and say we win 4 of the next 5 games.

The one loss coming at home to Everton, right?

The loss coming against Spurs.

And the 4 wins coming once we replace Potter with a decent manager.

We've got the players and a reasonable couple of fixtures after Spurs no reason we can't go on a good run and qualify for the Europa with 1 little tweak.

If we could all agree to a team on the day I will email Mr Potter and tell him..🙂 Picking the right side we should win this game.

Mount won't get stuck in..he doesn't even try anymore .he might get booked after kicking out, but that's about it.

I was thinking Leicester away as they have just clicked into gear by the looks of it.

I think i might rather the guillotine than this forum if we lose Sunday.

So Kante still not fit enough to return in any capacity for this one apparently ... suspect RLC will get the nod in the pivot with Enzo

As he should. For the most part the team that started against West Ham should start on Sunday, with the exception of Chilwell in for Cucurella. Maybe play a back 5 with 2 wing backs adding Wes Fofana, and pushing Madueke to the bench?

I'd vote yes, seeing as, counter-intuitively, we score more goals per game with 5 at the back than we do with the extra attacker on the pitch 🙂

Plus it will match up man for man against Spurs likely line up.

Spurs have a reputation for being a second half team under Conte. Most of the teams that got decent results against them this season did the damage in the first half. Hopefully we can start the game like we did against West Ham and take some of our chances.

My guess is that Conte will be well prepared.

Being prepared.  GP said that Southampton were well prepared even though they lost 4 games out of last 5 and they didn't have a manager.  Spurs will also be well prepared.  Most likely.  We should also Be Prepared.
