Kovacic injured again?

Potter tinkers way too much. Badiashile suddenly dropped? Ziyech starts?

You can only think that Potter wants to build a rapport between him and Silva by time of our crucial second leg against Dortmund, seeing as Badiashile is not able to play.

Even with that argument it should be Fofana over him.

I don't understand really why Ziyech keeps starting. He was 1 foot out the door, now he's suddenly nailed on starter.

Because if any of the front players are able to take advantage of his crosses, that's goals guaranteed. No other winger offers that and he connects well with Havertz. Looks like Potters gone for experience.

Yep and although he looked good against Southampton, maybe Potter still wants to manage his minutes carefully.

The problem is that Ziyech can barely manage to get into the position to cross. He doesn't have the legs or strength. Opposition players are on him the moment he receives the ball.

A bit of a sh*t line up to be honest . hopefully we turn up today  can’t see us winning this but think we come away with a 1-1 draw with one of the substitutes scoring a late equalizer

How you could pick ziyech in front of mount, mudryk.,madueke is surprising to me.

i don't understand why Koulibaly instead of Badiashile

unless the owners want him to play

Praying we turn up and put in a good performnce today. But starting RLC, Ziyech and Havertz in such an important game, a game where we need 100% commitment, is a BIG gamble.

Hope Potter knows what he's doing............................

COME ON THE CHELS!

Even after all this money spent we still manage to produce totally uninspiring line-ups. What is wrong with Zakaria, Kovacic? Both not fit yet? Zakaria has been on the bench for a few games now. You would think he could finally get a start considering he was pretty good when given a chance. Kovacic is injured again I am assuming? Beyond me why he can't seem to stay fit for more than 2 weeks at a time anymore. He is in the perfect age to enter his footballing prime.

I don't believe he actually knows what he is doing anymore. Currently anyone on the bench is a better option than Ziyech. Yes, he had a good cameo last game but that is once in a blue moon(maybe he will have one of those long shots today go in, but that is doubtful.Likely to be substituted around mid second half for inefficiency). RLC also a huge question mark but it looks like Potter will play RLC anywhere he can fit him in.

My feeling is that Potter will not be a Chelsea coach at the end of this season or mid next season. We would just need to have patience and wait for a better coach to replace him sooner rather than later. I just hope he won't relegate Chelsea this season.

There does seem to be something off with the overall running of the place. Players aren’t being managed well, and it can’t be good for their confidence. media being handled badly too. I’m not saying that’s necessarily what’s going on today but it seems to be the case now generally . Kova will be off this summer, to the delight of some on here, but he will be missed.
