Nicolas Jackson - striker

Funny you ask that because it based on my reading of the rules change certain things.

Firstly you need to look in the round in that we gave Kepa, who had one year left and some £10 million left to be amortised.

Second we extended Palmers deal and Jackson’s deals.

So the rules  now state that contracts are restricted to a 5 year time scale in terms of amortisation. But if you extend a contract that extension re sets the clock at 5 years save those that were in place prior to the rule change.

So in Kepas case there is a £5 million amortisation saving in 24/25 in the case of Palmer & combined will increase the annual sum by £3.2 million.

Cheers mate, thanks for info

ahh - so you are one of the ones who look at goals only, and nothing else.

Ok - i can play the game. Yes, let's give wacko credit for the ball hitting him in his ugly head  against wolves, and his world class finish when tapping it into an empty net from 2 yards. Bravo.

those 2 seconds aside - he has made us worse in every game. He is rubbish.

He is not steadily improving. He was sh*t when we got him. He is just as sh*t now. His link up play isn't getting better - it is still sh*t.

Some players make those around them play better - wackos the opposite - he makes the team worse and costs us goals and points.

I think you need to ask yourself this: Are you a Chelsea supporter or a Chelsea critic?

You are obviously very biased. Jackson could smash in 30 goals in the league and your opinion wouldn’t change. You have really dug your hole and you are going to live in it.

There is a lot to like from these first few games. He has provided an outlet for the long ball forward, been running the channels really well, received the ball through the lines and turned with defenders in his back, given some nice flicks to open space between the opposition’s midfield and defence and, most importantly, gotten on the end of attacking moves.

Chelsea supporter - for many years. Others might suggest usually one of the more rose tinted posters on here. Take my support of others who have failed - Werner for example. He was a lovely boy who I got behind more than most....

...But when it comes to Jackson, I cant stand him, and want him out of our club. He isnt good enough is the nicest thing I can say about him. There is nothing to like from his game, and I give him only very limited credit for the ball hitting his face (against wolves) and his world class finish from 2 yrds into an empty net against Palace. He is rubbish.

Jim, you make me laugh mate.

Tbf to jacko, Noni was worse than him today. But your love for jacko will be a best selling Novel. 🤣

Not true. Noni made our goal, tracked back and impacted the game significantly more than Wacko.  All grimface did was toe poke it into an empty net from 2 yrds after Noni and Palmer did the hard work.

A face that even his mother struggled to love. Did you know, she disliked him so much that she refused to buy him any boots until he was 17....

That was one of the funniest. He didn't move at all apparently and hit him in the head. Lmfao🤣🤣

I told Jim, it's a thin line between love and hate. When he's commenting on his looks then he's on the right track for a long and wonderful relationship with jacko. Ahhh, young turbulent love!

Lol

Only person I know with head shots of the guy...c'mon Jim, which is your phone background and which is the screensaver?

You can tell us, don't be shy.... 🤣

*bottom one is the screensaver right, stare at each others eyes. All the apps/icons would get in the way otherwise.

Thinking of big ugly strikers, Diego Costa always will be one of my all time favourite strikers.

He was a big, horrible bastard that had everything you wanted in a striker. I absolutely loved it the whole time he was our main striker. What a character.

What was that quote "he can start a riot in an empty room". Absolutely brilliant character. Final whistle he'd go around smiling shaking everyone's hand as if he hasn't terrorised them all game.

Or when hazard was being interviewed and he scared the guy holding the mic by barking at him. 🤣

Absolute legend.

Wasn't the starting a riot in an empty room about Dennis Wise?

I still cherish the memory of Diego Costa's lap of honour when he was taken off for Wolves at the Bridge. He milked that for all he was worth, hopefully it pissed off the Wolves away supporters :laugh2:

No, I didn't know that about his football boots, I'm not obsessed with him, his mum, his personal life, his appearance etc etc like you appear to be.

The best " ball hitting face" moment was our very own Batshuayi playing for Belgium.. his  goal celebration  ..smashing the ball , hitting the post and getting the rebound smack in the face

😂
