His intelligent runs helped create space, he won us lots of penalties, he had 26 goal involvements in his first season - unselfishly getting many assists, he didn't get booked every game for dissent or stupidity, he didn't fight over taking penalties, he didn't end up in the tabloids asking tarts for naked pics, he didn't have an ugly face that was born sneering that even his mother couldn't look at (apparently wackos mum hated his face so much she wouldn't even buy him boots until he was a teenager). edit: I also think that many of timos issues were in his head - coming from a lack of confidence once he had missed a few. Wacko is the opposite - and seems supremely confident despite being the worst player we have had at this club since Mineiro Timo could put himself offside in a phone box Jim. His second touch was usually a tackle. Neither of them were\are intelligent enough or good enough. I am absolutely stunned that we never went out and brought an experienced, proven centre-forward.......... again! It is our most pressing need and has been for a number of years now.
September 1, 20241 yr 9 year contract. f**king hell. Only way that’s acceptable is if he out lasts the ownership.

September 1, 20241 yr Sounds like Bob Marley and The Wailers in here. So funny. Yet ask them to name the Chelsea striker since Costa left who's been better and they'll probably start glitching. All possibly more expensive than him, including the so called final piece of the jigsaw we spunked £100m on. He might not be so called Chelsea quality, if that even is a thing, but the ones who supposedly were and we went for offered what exactly?

September 1, 20241 yr He has to be dropped, and should not in any circumstances be near our first team for any important (league/FA cup) games. Let him develop with the reserves and perhaps a run out against conference league part timers. He is just too damaging to our team. If we are to have any chance of progressing, we need him gone - as others are saying, he just isnt good enough. He is stupid. None of this is his fault, and we should not be putting him in this position - but he has to go. In terms of list of players who must play ahead of him up top: 1) Nkunku 2) Felix 3) Guiu 4) Neto Washington and Jackson should then be fighting for minutes after these 4. I take no joy in coming here, week after week to slate him, but it is beyind a joke.

Yea not really jumping into the debate, but its often said that we haven't had a decent striker since Costa, and while Tammy was never at that level, he seems to get overlooked as doing pretty well!

Heard him criticised so many times but revisionism kicked in when he left. Two seasons he gave us and first one, a goal more than Jackson in his first and 2 or 3 less assists. 2nd season he had 6 goals, granted he didn't feature as much but my point ultimately is we are never satisfied with what we have, always feel we can do better rather than support what we have.

Give over...how can you defend anyone who played like Wacko did today? 19 touches, Lost 5 out of 7 "ground" duels Lost 3 out of 4 aeriel duels (yep - he won 1 header!) Lost possession 7 times 5 passes all game, only 3 of which were accurate Only completed 1 dribble he tried. no crosses, no key passes It was sh*ttery of the highest order - and yet - we should feel "satisfied with what we have"??? . September 1, 20241 yr I’m a fan of Jackson and I’m happy with what he’s done so far this season despite today’s miss. I mean he got 2 goals and an assist in 3 games so far in premier league!

He has been awful, every match. It is shameful that any Chelsea fan would genuinely be "happy" with these performances.

If he keeps up his tally for rest of the season then yes I’d be really happy with him. He’s averaging a goal or assist per game.
September 1, 20241 yr The owners can see things that we ordinary football fans can't. They obviously knew Trev wasn't good enough to play ahead of Disasi and Badiashil . And they obviously decided not to buy a striker but instead extend Jackson's contract. They are very very wealthy which means they know what they are doing

Either they know nothing about football or more likely, don't watch any of the games. If they did, they would see he is trash. One thing is for sure. Wacko is a hinderance to our team. He makes the team worse and costs us - in almost every game he plays. I genuinely question the intention of anyone who legitimately defends this fraud. He needs to be dropped immediately Edited September 1, 20241 yr by nonotnowjim
