I mean Mikel has been publicly bashing him all summer. Mikel’s been unbearable past few weeks so I’m personally happy to see Jackson get some licks back.

Hes become a clown for social media, always bashing the owners. Its ever since hes made the youtube channel the obi one podcast or some bs

He says a lot of right things but honestly he should be giving solutions not bashing the owners and players 24/7

He’s a twat. Criticized our owners and directors all summer/saying they’re destroying the club, and now after he met with Winstanley he’s saying how great he is and how he has the best interest of the club.

Which is it mate?

Yeah, he went in even harder on Jackson after Osimhen was linked and he said he's been chatting with Osimhen to try and bring him to Chels.

I can't recall if it was after the man city game or serviette...his next podcast was in the media about his criticism and border line "abuse" of Jackson. Tbh, I didn't read the article, so it could have been a bit clickbait-y. But the kid doesn't deserve that regardless.

So have 90% of Chelsea fans. Let's not defend Jackson just because of one goal. Mikel has been spot on about Jackson and the owners

Yes, because I am sure Nicolas Jackson reads the ShedEnd forums. Mikel spent all summer using public platforms to constantly criticize Jackson and why we desperately need Osimhen. Like a spoilt child almost. Going to be funny seeing Osimhen go to Saudi and Mikel absolutely go bonkers.

Mikel has also spent the entire summer criticizing our directors, yet just last week after he met with Winstanley he has changed his tune. He's now saying Winstanley has the club's best interest at heart and truly cares for the club.

In conclusion. Mikel hasn't got a f**king clue about what's going on.

Are his numbers all that matter? Theyre really not bad.

15 goals/ 6 assists in 37 league games for the club overall.

1 goal/ 1 assist from 2 league games this season.

Mikel's premier league career stats. https://www.premierleague.com/players/3102/John-Obi-Mikel/stats

I like both mikel and Jackson. Mikel was a stalwart of the club and im sure Jackson will be as well providing he's not sold. 😉

I was not a fan for the longest time, but he's growing on me. There's something unique about him that I find endearing at this point.

He'll look supremely confident, even majestic, while doing something completely stupid like that backheel against City, then look clumsy while doing something brilliant like that assist to Cole yesterday.

He's definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, but luckily he's not getting paid to cure cancer. He's getting paid to get goals and assists, and he's doing just that.

Drogba and now Mikel banned from the club 😅 ffs. Ah well, if things turn out right in 2-3 years, I’m sure things will go full circle.

Can’t deny that John Obi’s podcast was pretty entertaining from a fan-service point of view, he’s just took the criticism too far.. like mate? What’s the end goal here.. we’re gonna stop supporting Chelsea then? Because otherwise what are we even saying.

I'm good with pursuing Jackson for another season, especially with the option to play Nkunku or a combination of Palmer/Felix thru the middle as a false 9.  His work rate is exceptional, and he continues to stretch the line and run the channels.  He is a  bit of a handful as well and winds people up.

He needs to work on his maturity, reading of the game, and composure, but there is a player in there.  Just need to stay very patient with him.

I hope that isn't true mate! How did Drogba get banned? That's f**king mental!

There was only a promo email from the club with him the other day!

Fair. Was just being melodramatic because since those negative comments about the ownership we’ve yet to really see him involved in stuff, like Lamps, Hazard have been comparatively.

He's also just setting himself up for a catastrophic pie in the face and ridiculous levels of trolling if Osimhen comes here and flops after he essentially spent all summer on his knees begging for the club to sign him.

Honestly, nothing would surprise me with this club now!

d**khead Jackson - rather than talking about a good 2nd half performance and 6 goals, his stupidity and ego has taken the shine and focus away from the positives, and made it about him with a negative/aggressive angle.

Not mentioned it all that often, but my goodness I can’t stand this guy. I hate him more than any other chelsea player in Jan I can remember.

We have been down this road already. most of those goals were meaningless. If I recall there were only 6or 7 that actually had any impact on the result of the game (I.e goal 6 in a 6 nil win, scored in the 90th min when the game was already won - as an example)

The guy is trash. As a footballer and a public personality

Tbh I hate all these podcasts that footballers are doing. I'm sorry they ain't the brightest bunch in the world.

Jackson is one of ours, whether he likes it or not. But to degrade him all summer just because his mate Osimhen, is just wrong. So he rates him better. Thanks for the opinion and it's appreciated. But to go on and on with rants about Jackson is just stupid.

I hope Jackson stays for a fkn long time, works out his mistakes, gains the experience he needs and becomes a club legend bigger than Drogba. He has the time on his side as he's young...I really hope he has the mentality and ethics for the rest. I hate bullies and mikel has been a dick and using his platform to be an even bigger one.

His solution is always buy Osimhen, no matter the problem.

Isn't his podcast just something that he earns money from ?

I'm not familiar with it, but YouTubers are full of clickbait in order to increase revenue, isn't this the same? Or is he actually a Chelsea employee?

He can't be hard up, dunno why he bothers , unless he gets loads of views or whatever?

I've just viewed his YouTube channel.

It's just like reading the Shedend, with opinions changing about players, the managers, owners almost daily.

His comments are no different to many on here TBF,

But if any of our players are getting in a spat with him like the fans on there,  that's sad considering they have so much money to be doing almost anything they want in life instead of gawking at YouTube.

( Like me !)

Hasn't he just scored the opening goal and got the second assist to put us ahead again?

Two important goal contributions in as many games already this season. 😉

Yep.

Credit for the opening goal, and the flick of his flailing leg as he was falling down.

It doesn’t change the fact that he was awful, and a genuine hinderance in everything else that he did. He is an awful player and human being
