Another goal for the season and without him get 0 points today, glad we have him until 2033

Sure you are saying it to wind me up - as I don’t believe you can genuinely think that. Did you watch the game? He was absolute sh*t - and cost us all 3 points.

From the BBC website just now;

"Chelsea were guilty of missing a number of chances last season and that was once again their downfall in this game, with Jackson twice having chances late on to seal the victory, but he put his first into the side-netting, before being denied by Henderson one-on-one".

Now you are going to get people on here, quite a few in fact, saying that he scored today and so that is his job done. It's good enough for them. But the rest of us know it isn't good enough. Eventually, those in the first group will come around and will also realise it isn't good enough, but it will take time.

Hopefully they know Halaand, (a proper striker people), scored another three goals yesterday. That's a big difference. Oh, and one more thing. Please drop any silly comparisons with Drogba. Even if he lived to be a 1,000 Jackson will never get remotely close to Drogba in terms of ability, mentality or consistency.

I think people are being a bit harsh on the 1v1, better strikers have messed that up.

Better strikers score more than they don't though. This is a regular thing with Jackson. When it matters most, where you really need him to produce a moment that would decide the outcome of a game, he bottles it.

He scored a goal and had 1/2 big chances converted. He only looked “awful” because of circumstances.

Fact is Jackson underperformed his xG massively last season and has yet to show that he’s a match winner. Club want to continue backing him as our #1 and ultimately they will be responsible.

Do you mean Timo Werner?

Get the impression he must really impress in training. Why else would he continually get picked. You can’t put in what Gods left out, and unfortunately in terms of game time they’re ample evidence that as a footballer he’s thick as f**k. No amount of coaching is gonna change that.

Stop with the praise of converting the chance. It was literally a tap in from 2 yards.

Only credit for the goal goes to Palmer and Noni. None for this donkey.

Enough of that.....

Turbo was a lovely boy, and he should not be mentioned in the same forum, let alone thread as this fraud.

But he has also had the same gifts as Jackson. Namely, being born offside and invariably fluffing an incredible amount of straight forward of chances.

Timo wasn't good enough in the same way Jackson isn't good enough.

Timos finishing was frustrating.

But he was a lovely boy, who won us the champions league. His intelligent runs helped create space, he won us lots of penalties, he had 26 goal involvements in his first season - unselfishly getting many assists, he didn't get booked every game for dissent or stupidity, he didn't fight over taking penalties, he didn't end up in the tabloids asking tarts for naked pics, he didn't have an ugly face that was born sneering that even his mother couldn't look at (apparently wackos mum hated his face so much she wouldn't even buy him boots until he was a teenager).

edit: I also think that many of timos issues were in his head - coming from a lack of confidence once he had missed a few. Wacko is the opposite - and seems supremely confident despite being the worst player we have had at this club since Mineiro

I agree. Most of us didn't even know who he was when Jackson was bought. For all his faults, he's worth the money we spent on him, which is more than I could say for majority of the signings under the new regime.

Should he be a starter in a side trying to finish in the top four? No, of course not. But he's not the one buying the players.

Don’t sit on the fence there Jim! Appalling footballer. We’d be better off with Janet Jackson

Big celebrations planned in North London, Liverpool and Manchester at this news.

You mean Arsenal, Liverpool and City? We're not even on their radar, they couldn't care less unfortunately.

You cannot coach someone to be talented. He just isn’t

you cannot coach someone who does not have a football brain. I actually don’t think he knows the offside rule because if he does only someone without a football brain would continue to be caught offside. Oh wait

he just isn’t good enough

We had a whole window to get a striker in, this is our lot. I can't wait to be blown away by Sancho's world class that I've been hearing about for three years now.

I've had it with this over the top hate towards Mineiro!
