West Ham could have done this to Liverpool in the league cup - shame really, a trophy's a trophy after all

Exactly. Awful bottle job by Moyes.

Great week with us winning and both Spurs and Arsenal losing. Watched the Arsenal game and fair play to West Ham - they defended so well. 2-0 up like we were but didn't have a sh*t keeper to let Arsenal back into the game. Have to say, at times last night Odegaard was unplayable - clear best player but the likes of Saka, Martinelli and Jesus didn't turn up.

Can't understand West Ham fans who want Moyes replaced because he doesn't play "the West Ham way" (whatever that is?). He's done a fantastic job for them and they are acheiving well above what they should be with that squad.

Genius plan for the Hammer to get Ward-Prawse in their team, every corner and free kick is like a laser guided missile into the box. You need height to attack set pieces ( which is not the hardest part), getting consistently quality delivery is a different matter.  Hate them or not, the manager had a plan and they followed it up, similar to what Emery is doing at Villa. Despite it's currently a 4 hoses race ( allegedly) for the title, comes round 32 or 33 it will be City's title to lose again

I've seen our players picking up yellows recently for going down too easily, but Saka always gets away with it. He does it in every game.

Palmer, Sterling and Gallagher have all been booked for it recently.

Same ref who couldn't get his card out quickly enough when Palmer dropped to his knees and got straight back up at Everton saw Saka dive but issued no yellow.

From The Guardian:

For David Moyes, who celebrated his first league win in 73 attempts away against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and United, it was a tactical triumph.

Ah we win, Spurs and Arsenal lose, the football world seems balanced for once. 😉

Apparently, Spuds' troubles are down to injuries, according to The Guardian:

Spurs lacked sharpness – a consequence, surely, of being stretched by injuries

We don't know how lucky we are. Here's a team we were unable to field against Palace:

3-4-1-2

Sanchez

Fofana

Chalobah

Cucurella

James

Fernandez

Ugo

Chilwell

Chuwumeka

Palmer

Sterling

Hate to say it, but the Brighton v Spurs game was a great watch .

Another 18 yo rapped in a decent goal for Albion thenEstupinan scored a rocket .

Woodwork hit several times and nearly a f**king Spurs comeback.

I was thinking about how Ange has transformed the way Spurs play. He took an established team full of PL , experienced players.

Could he have done it with an inexperienced, young, new players without PL experience at Chelsea. Dunno, would have been more difficult than what he had at Spurs .

Im still baffled how Brighton manage to play the way they do , but it's enjoyable to watch.

Good week though , we win , North London get battered 🤣🍺👍

Can Fulham pull off another handsome home win or will Arsenal dismantle them? Will Bournemouths amazing run carry on or end at Spurs.

Normally we would want Fulham and Bournemouth wins but...ah we still want them to win!

happy new year lads, hopefully fulham can maintain this

Hopefully they do, and put Pool out of the cup, but drop off when they come to the Bridge soon lol.

Until the final wishes blows anything can happen with Arsenal!!

We showed teams how to beat this Arsenal team we just didn’t hold on long enough.
