I'm actually okay with this.

Experience is needed, but the experience I want is experience from players with plenty to offer. De Bruyne is at the end of his career, he will only get worse from here. Kane, even with all of his goals for Bayern, struggles to run these days. All of those ankle injuries he picked up at Tottenham caught up with him a few years ago.

Poch was saying the exact same thing last season.

Their response? Tosin on a free.

Their response was to come at Poch with a 20 page dossier to push him out of the club ... clearing the path to not renew Thiago Silva, and offload Sterling, Chalobah, Chilwell, and Gallagher, plus get rid of his #1 GK choice so that they could shoehorn Ben Roberts' golden boy back into the starting XI.

Tosin on a free was the icing on the cake LOL

Wouldn’t be against him signing but not at whatever exorbitant fee Brighton want for him.

Not really a lone forward either. Would make sense if the plan was to play him at CAM or as a wide forward.

The Nkunku role, the role we have no role for.

Does anybody else think that the Club World Cup has any kind of pulling power when it comes to transfers? It only comes up once every 4 years, and there is a high chance that you will only get one chance at playing in it in your career. I wouldn't be surprised if this is why there were rumours of Huijsen preferring us over Liverpool (before Real Madrid got involved)

If there is any kind of pulling power, then we should be looking to improve our squad quickly.

The South Americans seem to take it seriously, maybe we can sign Neymar.

Not really, its a pretty nothing competition. Inter Miami have been invited despite winning nothing. Players in general just don't want to live in Liverpool, have they ever had pulling power for big players? Their best players always want to leave too.

Unfortunately it is taken seriously and once it starts being played it will be taken very VERY seriously. I mean we know it is a nothing competition but if we were to win it. . .sure, at the moment it is all marketing and PR. But it will have a major effect on the global game.

For example,  Al-Nassr wonder kid Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, has received an offer from an unnamed Brazilian club, which would allow the Portugal star to play in the Fifa Club World Cup which starts in June.
