Madueke's just waiting for the Arsenal confirmation. I highly doubt he's focused on the game at hand. Even worse if he got injured

This Noni is at Arsenal already mentally so why play him if he wants to leave.

But Nkunku is on the way out too. I don't think it's about that or Noni wouldn't even be on the bench.

"To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments."

So what do FIFA do send the players out in dangerous conditions why ? Money thats why . Thunderstorms in forecast at 1.40 pm local time so a good chance the match may get paused again in teh 2nd half.

Can debate line ups, tactics etc but the bottom line is the atmospheric conditions will be a bigger factor than all of those most likely.

These are questions only Maresca can answer, I only speculated the reason why Noni is on the bench instead of starting

Are they gonna call it off for a bit of wind and rain again? God American's are soft.

Soft? You have no idea. This isn’t British drizzle. Spend some time in adverse climates and you’ll quickly learn Mother Nature always wins.

The issue here isn’t the rain or the storm, it’s the risk. Some will say thats a lawsuit issue. Reality is it’s a human issue - it’s the right decision until it isn’t, when a life is lost. Football is not worth that. Sorry for the late night - deal with it.

according to Bushi Laba (close to Arsenal) Arsenal wont pay 50m for him so it might be off, he has also said Madueke and Chalobah are being forced out, they want to buy Rodrygo but his wages are 300k so may settle for Eze

🤣🤣 and the Americans have the nerve to complain about UK weather

Weather, food and dental hygiene. I get grief for it almost daily, but fight the good fight!

Also, what’s the shed end prize for naming the correct side the day before? It’s not rocket science, but assume a prize includes lifetime membership!

At 2a.m.? No thank you. Tonight, I’d switch on the match if it were possible to watch it for free, but I’m not going to register/subscribe to dazn to watch it. If it were a Champions League or PL or any of the Cups, I’d make the effort.

You can register with DAZN and watch it for free, no subscription required and they don't even ask for any payment details so there's no chance of you subscribing even inadvertantly

Why’s he got a weird obsession with gusto?? He’s not even that good 5/10 every game

James is out
Colwill's out
Fofana's out

There isn't alot left to play on the right side of the defense

I don't know why Nkunku is starting though.......

Why do you host football in these regions when the weather is known to be a problem. Playing football over a four or five hour period is bonkers and not what the rest of the world is used to. The spectacle is somewhat diluted, with a prolonged game. The only advantage is i imagine the crowd can get an extra meal or two in.

The U.S.A isnt really a top notch nation when it comes to football so its puzzling that we have to endure your weather affected scenarios.

Im fine with the late nights, but this makes no sense why plan for delays. Lets be honest this location with these conditions is not suitable.
