It's always hard to replace your superstars, and I don't think they can replace a player of KDB's quality.

His record of choosing goalkeepers and his man management of them has been spotty throughout his time at City

Surely he won’t sanction that deal. He is average on the ball, and Pep wants his GK to play like an 11th man. Might as well give his wages to Ederson.

Maybe Pep does with him what we have with Sanchez, cut out the short range passes.

They already had an outstanding defence. Now they have reinforced both their attack and midfield.
