Honestly he’s dreadful

Said it before .. can’t defend can’t pass can’t mark .. he is relegation level.. better off with Disasi there than tosin..

It's basically guaranteed this team will concede a goal if Tosin is on the pitch.

He is a complete liability.. don’t understand this team selection too..

Disaster. We can probably still scrape into the playoffs but we will almost certainly be paired up with a top team after that. We rely on special players to magic up something on a night like this and unfortunately tonights performance isnt too rare. We have too many players who cant be trusted. Not good and i guess Maresca will have to keep bluffing his way through the season. Its not at all convincing. Hey ho.

Lots of changes for Wolves rinse and repeat.

Our chances to get automatic qualification are hanging by a thread.

We now need to beat one of Barca or Napoli while also beating pafos and Atalanta. We needed these 3 points imo.

Top 8 is gone now. We had to beat Benfica, A**x, Qarabag and Pafos to stand a chance. No way are we winning all 3 of our games against Barcelona, Napoli and Atalanta.

We are simply not good enough to rest players and give youngsters a run out in a CL game

It's the Champions League, not the Conference League FFS

Liverpool, City, Newcastle and Spurs have basically played their best 11 every CL game so far. Enzo thinks he’s still in the conference league.

This is where the step-up in champs league Vs conference league will hurt. Saturday is another banana skin given our recent form against ‘lower’ opposition at the bridge.

We really should be putting this lot away to give ourselves a chance. Frustrating to say the least.

Yup I think you are right.

I think sconnie is on to something. Let's just get to may and arsenals coronation.

Better yet let's get to the time blueco no longer own Chelsea...

After what I've just watched, I think we will be lucky to get 3 points out of those 9.

Stop stressing about top 8. It's top 24 I'm looking at!

The clown still thinks he's in the conference league. Always makes to many changes and as fornthe CB pairing dog and duck level. We will struggle to get anywhere in the C.L with clown in charge.

No need to dissect yet another quality Marescaball performance

But how about Qarabag, hey? Deserved to win, outplayed us and only fell to the two rare moments of quality.

Best game of the season to watch to date thanks to their relentless energy, but what really impressed me is how tactically flexible they were. They took everything Maresca threw at them and spat it out. Played 4-5-1, 4-4-1-1, dominated us in possession, played high line with a back 5, reverted to a deep line with a back 9 when we took momentum. So fluid and flexible that even their defending was a joy to watch in comparison to whatever the f**k was going on in white.

The only thing worth saying about Chelsea performance is that it lacked respect. Pedro, Gittens, Hato etc. all played with the air that they were "too good" for this game and were roundly embarrassed as a result. Their body language communicated they weren't taking things seriously, that scoring would be inevitable, and it really fired up the Qarabag players.

Maresca and the players have to be blamed for this but our sporting directors have a lot to answer for too. All that money spent and look what it's yielded in terms of CB and wingers. It's truly embarrassing.

Great overhead kick by Garnacho! His foot didn’t even go over his knee you silly wench. Right I’m off to bed. Oh wait it’s only 8 o’clock, f**king stupid early kickoff. Right I’m angrily staring at the wall all night.

Watch Newcastle instead mate. they might win, they'll probably lose cos they're not all that. But at least they will try to win, they will run a lot, try to entertain and there will be a bit of atmosphere there. Ho hum

Agreed. On the other hand, the first options for many/most positions are green 20yo... Neto is listed with a muscle issue/discomfort.

Do we actually know that resting players was unnecessary (and not a demand from the physios) and it was just down to Maresca's? I've read speculation regarding how this may be Maresca's decision, but no actual information from the club.
