Cracking player but it certainly goes against our usual transfer policy. Saying that, Gittens looks like he's going be a bust and Mudryk is still in limbo.

Agent work, just getting us tagged in to accelerate Man Utd or Liverpool into moving early in January.

He’s a Chelsea fan there is a video going around of him in Drogba shirt talking about Munich 2012.

If we want him he comes!!

I don’t think it’s fully understood how many young players now are Chelsea fans because of the winning mentality and team we had.

Now we have a bunch of clowns running the club ruining our winning reputation.

On the player in general he has a 60mill release clause which can be activated from January 1st to 15th.

Would make sense for Liverpool to move for him after Isaks injury.

Arsenal, Spurs, City and United have all inquired as well to know the conditions for the release clause.

After signing Garnacho and Gittens, as well as having Quenda coming next season, I don't see us making a move even if we have the budget. The directors and owners will want space for Quenda and will want Maresca to use Garnacho and Gittens more.

Ornstein isn't Romano.

Ornstein represents a reputable journalism in the Athletic whereas Romano is representing just himself, hence why Romano and "brown envelopes" constantly gets brought up given he reports anything player agents tell him.

There is truth to this story, which makes sense given in no reality will anybody look at Garnacho and Gittens and be like "They're great".

This

If Ornstein is reporting it then we are definitely interested in him. Whether he passes the clowns running the club age test is another issue as I think he’s over age for our SDs.

I'm just not arsed. Don't care anymore.

It was obvious one of Semenyo or Rogers should've been prioritized over the summer. Even bloody Kudus would've been better than either Garnacho or Gittens.

Now they want to act when they've realized our wingers are sh*t? That is actually giving them too much credit. Correcting their mistakes. They probably only want Semenyo because its a "market opportunity."

Agreed. Plus, given the release clause closes on 15th Jan with City, United and Liverpool already declaring interest there isn't much point in involving us if it isn't legit.

Won’t come to CfC even if 🍒 sanction a high priced move

Isak just broken his peg

Dippers still could make top 5 and get in UCL

Got a feeling this lad will want a team in the hunt for the title

Gooners at full capacity and this boy will cost 80-100 mill in January. City could always make a bid you feel he’d fit in there

I reckon cfc interest is more likely to be click bait from Clearfake who really have no intention in signing him.

If he rocks up in January I’ll eat my 🧢 😂

2 media briefings in one day.

The owners are doing a Spurs on us.

Half heartedly go in for a player with the chances he’s already made up his mind.

Then they can firstly say they tried, but secondly they then can say they are happy with what we’ve already got.

I’m sure today’s briefings will kill this myth that they only go for young potential rather than ready made quality Premier League players at a decent age.

Seems like us fans have got them all wrong…🙄

Didnt even have chance to come home, watch a few youtube videos, and get mildly excited of the prospect of signing a player that might actually be ready to perform now, rarther than by (project) 2030.

We are no longer in the buisness of building title winning teams, these players are not for us.

The big question our sporting directors are asking, is where is the next Semenyo! 😂

I wonder why they keep doing that. Surely by now the whole 'we inquired but weren't really interested' nonsense is fooling no-one.

Pathetic.

6 year extension for signing gash and pump faking tagets that improve the XI.

Hate these f**king pricks.

This same thing has been happening at United for years. I got used to hearing my brothers complaining about this for years.

Imagine if we had just signed Olise, Osimhen and Semenyo / Rogers. That is our attack sorted for the next decade. But no, our lot has to sign Mudryk, Madueke, Sancho (loan) Gittens Garnacho, Jackson, Delap and not a single one of them have been good enough. What is that, like £300m when we could have spent around half of that on top quality players?
